Ohio State has always been good. They almost never win less than 10. Probably the most consistent program in CFB.

And they have always had soft schedules. Who is their competition? That nail-biter against Grambling was impressive. Michigan? Penn State? Have you looked at the latest rankings? Seven SEC teams in the top 25 CFP rankings. Eight if you look at the AP poll. Go look at the SOS and SOR rankings. OSU down at 28. FOURTEEN SEC teams in the top 25 SOS. Not until Oregon and USC joined has the B10 actually gotten more competitive.
Indiana is a fluke.

Agreed. Three loses should never get in.

So.... Is a 10-2 team with a 30-something SOS better than a 10-3 team with an SOS of 6? SIX ranked teams on your schedule and you beat all but 2, and beat one of those in regular season IN ATHENS.
I HATE the Gumps, but I hate that everyone is glossy over a tough schedule.
James Madison is 12-1. Why aren't they ranked in the top 5? SCHEDULE.
Shut up.

How was your trip?
Which courses did you end up playing and what were your impressions? Always interested in getting an outside perspective.
You had a great initial list. If you played those courses, you had some good golf.

before they built all the houses around the course, just orange groves for miles

I did feel different before the houses. I guess you can’t stop “progress.” That area is the latest development boom. Independence and Hamlin area growth is crazy.

We already have Kick-Off Classics, why not take it up a notch? I like it.

Bama losing does nothing for LSU.

But it makes me happy.
I have not. Waiting for some bullshite stunt to happen.
Hope not. Maybe he’s grown up?

You are disconnected from ur body on downswing

^^^ YES ^^^
Solid contact left usually indicates the face is pointing that way … swing path may be from the outside, but mostly your upper body could be coming through faster than your lower body.
This is my miss and my instructor says I’m, “out of sync.” I’m not as flexible as I used to be and it’s easier for my upper body to turn before my hips do.
Slowing my takeaway and PAUSING at the top, a-la Hideki Matsuyama, helps tremendously. The pause allows your torso to start turning before your upper body. Not only has it straightened my shots, but I’m hitting the ball more solid.
ALSO … for tempo … try the ERNIE ELS trick.
ERNIE on your backswing, ELS on your downswing. 3-1 tempo ratio.
It really works.

If you really enjoy listening to talk about Star Wars, then yes, i can see why you’re disappointed.
I actually like hearing about football.

Offense Line Future

No idea how many of what we have, stay or leave. If it’s not already obvious, we need to designate 2/3 of NIL monies to the O-Line. I do not see how there is anything in this group that instills confidence for next year.

New coaches will dictate a lot of the needs, I hope in a good direction.

Yea, there were many things that contributed to this abomination of a season, but the OLine was THE major issue. Gotta fix it

Captain Obvious out! ??

Orange County National

You should enjoy that. Crooked Cat has just reopened to tremendous reviews. All greens totally replaced.
Panther Lake is my favorite of the two, but both are excellent.

Assuming you are staying in the Disney/Attraction area, there are plenty of better options than the Disney courses. Waldorf is the best course on property.

Orange County National (2 GREAT courses+short course)
Southern Dunes
Providence
Celebration
Champions Gate Resort (2 -18 hole courses)
Reunion Resort (3 courses)

For something different and elevation changes, try Clermont National and/or Legends Golf Club. Clermont National is pretty legit. Has Trackman driving range. Very penal if you leave the fairway. Dubsdread is really fun. Just opened a new Trackman driving range. It’s in Downtown area.

Eagle Creek is one of my favorites, but is on the east side of town. Great layout and wide open. Highly recommend. Might be worth the drive (not a bad one from Disney). TOLLS.

Unfortunately MetroWest is hit or miss. That is kinda the story for a lot of the courses around here. Falcon’s Fire was one of my favorites. It’s Iffy.
If you are on FaceBook, search for Orlando Golf Network. Lots of course condition updates.
