Landry has a problem with Washington DC now over his race based idea to create a snake of a district that has been described by the Supreme Court as laughable. It’s blowing up in his face and our elections for the Representatives seat of all Representative running our State is jacked up because of his political grab He was told and advised by many that this was not going to fly and it was a political move he decided to go with Cleo Fields on to gain his support in his next election. Cleo Fields was put to bed and brought back to life by Landry. He was were he needed to be and although Inhave forgotten details of his corruption Cleo was of the same political class as Edwards and Jefferson. Now every poll commissioner in this state will have to deal with a mad electorate who will not understand the race being on their ballot and likely votable without an official count. I’m glad it’s off but what a mess as the Represetatives terms end this year, maps have to be redrawn, candidates who have already spent a bundle will have to spend more and hope that they are running in the same districts as they are redrawn then requalify against additional candidates and the expense of additional election dates. I believe if the people truly learn that this was Landry’s boondoggle along with his handling of Insurance in our State, running with the trial lawyers association like a true liberal and so many other political grabs by him that another Republican like Garret Graves or Tim Temple would beat him. Especially if backed by our President who knows of Landry’s deal with Cleo Fields.
It’s easy, plaintiffs attorneys own Landry. He can hide behind the “it’s insurance companies to” and be wined, dined, funded in his campaign and hunt with trial lawyers. They are a huge lobby and give greatly to him. But a simple google search will reflect that Louisiana has the highest frequency of bodily injury claims in the US and one of the highest litigation rates in the country. Look it up. But he believes this has nothing to do with one of the highest incidence of attorney advertising, both crazy bill boards on our highways and in our media outlets. We struggle to keep insurance but do we struggle to keep trial lawyers. How does the bar association seem to care about billable hours by attorneys when they write one letter or have one phone call referring a case to a trial lawyer and receive and receive 10 to 20 percent of an injured litigants case. How would this be different than a driver of an ambulance or anyone else referring a case for a fee when neither of those referring the case participated in a meaningful way to the outcome of the case. Landry can try and destroy the insurance commissioner and insurance companies who we have a hard time getting to our state to provide insurance and when they do come criticize their premiums for covering the cost to pay this higher frequency of claims experienced. I voted for Landry but am disappointed in his handling the insurance problem. He is the problem. He also may have been a part of these redrawn districts issue with the Congressional race along with his new good friend Cleo Fields. Supposedly the Landry had a deal with Fields to give minorities another district for Cleo’s help in the Governors race.i hope I’m wrong on this but have it from a good source that our conservative governor sold us out on this issue. We are know in the midst of an election that will be a mess because of him.
So far all I have seen concerning this serious issue has been money paid for libel and slander paid by those who have alleged the machines have had a problem. Since the machines are tested before the election by the counties and parishes who are to use them and they check out fine and again after the election. None of this seems more than folks who are misled trying to be a squeaky wheel. Please show definitive proof in a video of how you believe this works and not just spew what you heard. Until you do that, please feel fortunate you are not in court facing the same large civil fine others have had to pay.
Let me see if I have this right. The democrats are funding both sides, the KKK and those fighting against them to stir up controversy among democrats. I always thought these events were bought and paid for but had no idea both sides are being played
Any confusion is caused by what you are taking in with news. The straight is closed to all except who our President allows to go in and out. There has been some small boats with Iranians jumping and harassing ships in the gulf. Since it didn’t happen to Us or Jewish boats, those from the country’s involved need to step up and become more involved. US control of the straight is very real. If the blockade goes on much longer a severe hardship will a

re: China aggressively selling oil

I have recently read that the Russian economy is near collapse as result of the Ukraine bombing of their oil facilities. Chinas has a very serious economic crisis ahead as well as a result of their long policy of allowing only one child per family. Now the younger workers who don’t have the ambition as their parents, part of the blame goes to Covid when they realized the didn’t have to work. There are know not enough employees to support their older retiring population. The Chinese government made up of a very small upper class referred to as Princeely class is beyond the corruption we can understand. They presently have a struggle for the top and some believe that Xi could loose his position to one or more people from their armed forces. It’s a serious cluster in China right now. Saying that China is playing Trump is a complete misunderstanding and bad take by people who discount him and would rather seethe USA fail so long as Trump fails. We are less than two months into this and we are changing the world for the better of civilization on earth. Be patient, maybe woman in Iran will begin to realize basic human rights instead of imprisoned and raped by their captors for the purpose of preventing them from entering heaven.
It’s sad when we live in a time when someone who speaks in this manner has reached a level of even the possibility of leading our country. At a time when government waste and abuse run rampant despite the best efforts of the only President to ever challenge it, it’s embarassing that she believes she could be responsible enough to have such a position.
At least they are talking about how we are losing the war instead of how we are losing at the border or how the price of eggs are to high. Oh and the price of gas is to high even though we are at war and have taken 20% of the market. It’s as if gas prices will not ever come down under Trump when the other plan was to be driving with batteries right now. Except the batteries are made in China. Even in war time our country seems to be doing better. And the economy in Biden year was deteriorating when Trump took office. The tariffs were unequivocally bringing down our defecit and flipped the economic switch as predicted. Democrats will be able to run in the mid terms on the illegal efforts of republicans and Trump calling out Somalian minorities corruption in Minnesota and those criminal ice agents who are trying to remove violent criminal who are in our country. But the price of gas. Democrats better hope this war goes on a while as the economy will improve quickly when it is over and they will be back to transexuals, global warming and racism.
People calling this a debacle re definitely dumbasses. We have made significant progress in weakening Irans military to a level that most of its neighbors can likely handle. It would be nice to get the uranium but I’m not sure that they couldn’t just buy it again from Russia or China. The question is can we kill enough of these radicals to give the people of their country a chance at basic human rights. A country that could get along in the world without the need to threaten all with nukes?
I would t vote for him but he would be better than Kamala, what a joke or Gavin who believes in taxing the rich until they have all moved to Texas or Florida.

We are at war with people who likely infiltrated our country when our borders were open. Some how we have to have intelligence to find these people without losing our rights.
I believe in Jay and what he has accomplished at LSU and we are lucky he hasn’t taken a professional job. Having said that he wholly missed on talent in these portal guys. Almost like they made some list and he ordered it sight unseen. I do believe he hates watching this as much as we do.and will get it right next year. He also needs to show some progress with his players as I don’t see much improvement with many from last year.
Seems we should all be very careful, thoughtful and prayerful before criticizing each other, including the vicar. Some of the issues on Christianity and peace are much more complicated than what is happening today or on any day. As a whole our country has done much to serve the poor of the world and worked to secure peace in wars and at times that no peace appeared forthcoming for people of foreign lands. May God bless the peace makers. May God bless our country and our President.
Don’t know if the guy hit threw the beer or not but security went to him first as well. I assume security wasn’t drunk.
We see what they are trying to unbury and the time that has elapsed in cease for has allowed them time to show us what is important to them. I’m sure the cease fire has allowed US and Israeli intelligence time to work. They likely have also received needed supplies, But Trump has explained that their utilities are about to be turned off. They can’t win and can only bring despair to their country. What need do they have for enriched uranium now? Do they believe that they can hide it and one day return to their ambition of having a weapon to bribe the world with. We are too near our goal of elimination of their material and anymore delay simply brings more pain to the Iranian people held hostage by the IRGC. It’s time to turn out the lights and do what is necessary for the world. And their should be no regret or remorse over what will also bring the loss of life of our precious blood and life as we can’t expect what has to happen to harmless.
Do some digging. I searched for the average iq of a Somalian and was amazed at their score. Admittedly, I don’t know the background of this lady or where she is from. The question is when does helping impoverished and abused people from other places go from honorable and charitable to something far more worrisome to your society. Seems some people assimilate rather well. This lady seems like a lovely person but she doesn’t give much confidence and competence to which she is speaking.

I agree with both sides of these rants. We were lead to believe by Jay that this was a complete rebuild as hard as we know that can be. As the transfer portal guys were brought in we were amazed. Expectations were high from what we read about these portal guys and we knew what we had with Milam, Stanfield and Brown and a couple of pitchers. And let’s be clear that Jay also lead us to believe the team was of championship caliber. Some of these guys are a far cry from what we expected. How is it that Jay missed so badly on a few of them, is what is amazing. Having said all of this I do believe Jay is the best coach in college baseball. My guess is that he could pop out of this gig at LSU and coach in the major league with an even larger contract than we can give him at anytime. Jay knows what he needs to win and knows he missed on lots of these guys. I firmly believe that he will correct this next year and we will be watching better baseball.i am for giving Jay a pass and say that he is in my mind at the top of this sport while saying he missed on some portal guys this year.
My guess is he is trying to figure out how to get multiple people here with the money he has. He can’t use it all on one or two players but must buy a team. I’m sure the kids are also interested in who else he is recruiting that they will have as teammates. This is a complete rebuild and my guess is he doing his best to figure this out while the players he is recruiting are using his numbers to see if they can get more elsewhere. Rather than approaching this as “hurry up” and get us a recruit to put in the paper, how about try and let Wade do his job.
Our criminal justice system that apply the civil rights you libs are celebrating is far from perfect with those that can afford better lawyers obtaining better results in punishment. But the premise that was brought in this thread is 100 percent correct, that more severe penalties would absolutely result in a safer society. The problem is in the democratic held cities where liberal judges pardon severe crime so that hardened criminals, rapist and murderers get out of prison and repeat horrid crimes mostly in their minority communities. The cities in the US likely kill more people than most wars. I believe the largest racial issue in our country today is how this inner city minority killing is not addressed. Trump attempted to help with ICE but has been fought by liberal politicians elected by the same minorities.
Historically we would lose the house and senate anyway. Trump has stopped illegal immigration and removed mearly half a million criminal illegal aliens. He has reversed the trans gender mutalation trend of teens and men in women’s sports but the war in Iran will cause an economic hardship for many poor Americans and they likely will vote based on their situation. At this point Trump should try to get a handle on the enriched uranium, try to topple the Iranian regime and reopen the straight of Hormuz. Trump promised a better economy and it was better, the price of eggs went down and so did gas prices but the war will inflate everything because of fuel cost. It is what it is for the mid term Trump should try to see this through and likely has until Jan. 1. Then Iran knows the democrats will end all hostility pay them money and hopefully not as much as Obama gave them for a pledge they will not honor. Trump will be impeached by democrats and his family investigated mercilessly. We can only be thankful for the last two years and pray for the next Presidential election that someone will pick up this MAGA role and carry on cleaning up the corruption of Minnesota and California and other democratic states who have stolen our tax money to import Somalian and other minority voters.
Our recent success and Lane buying in to things being diffrent at LSU has brought out the ugly green monster from the announcer that is all.
