If we turn the ball over then I think it will be a close game but we still win due to our defense. If we don't turn the ball over we win by a big margin. I just don't see them scoring more than 21 pts if that and Charlotte put 343yds on them. You can say they were looking ahead also but that's 2 games in a row.

I just trust Kiffin to win this one. That’s my main reason

I also think we have more athletes on defense than they do and better coaching on both sides of ball

WTF

We only averaged 3.1 yards rushing per run against La.Tech, and that’s including a run of about 44 yds.

BK took one of his worst teams into Ole Miss last year and almost won. Granted OM walked up and down the field on our D without many points to show for it. Outside of their QB, Talent is better this year at LSU, Coaching is better. LSU wins this one.

I don't see OM being able to drive the ball and score on our defense. However, like Tech, OM could bust a long TD. It also depends on which LSU offense shows up. I have faith that LK will have the LSU offense ready to go. LSU 31 OM 7.

other than home field and QB I find it difficult to determine where Ole Miss has an advantage.

LSU's coaching staff is superior at every level.

LSU's talent level is greater at every level except starting QB and RB but the gap is not huge. And no one knows the weaknesses of Chambliss better than Kiffin and Weiss.

LSU Defense is far superior.

No one was clamoring for Golding as a defensive coordinator or a head coach. You've taken him away from the one thing he was okay at and make him the head coach and expect the defense not to suffer?

Golding will be lucky to last two seasons.

I’ve been watching LSU football for many decades. Take away the correct coaching situation, the quality of both teams, and the media drama. The vast majority of time when these two teams meet, the score is always within a touchdown. They will both play to the highest of their ability. I expected to be a close game.

Our defense is better than 2019

I doubt it, but maybe. DLs were comparable; LBs were comparable; safeties seem better in 26; corners were better in 19. Great coordinators both years. 2019 played an imposing schedule; 2026 has played two putrid offenses. We'll see.

Worried about Leavitts first sec road game. He was horrible last year at Miss St. We need to keep Chambliss in the pocket and not let him extend plays with his legs. If we do that we win: 24-20
