Bottom line - players' parents want their sons loved, protected, valued, and supported — not litigated and mistreated. Parents and players are looking for a family culture and coaches that are father figures. That’s not a stereotype. That’s a universal truth about parenting, especially in a sport where young black men make up the majority of the roster and face unique pressures. Ole Miss has just changed this narrative. Not only does it have to deal with the backdrop of "Ghosts of Ole Miss", now they have to deal with a non-loving, not caring , "money and the contract are more important than the player" narrative. Not a good look and won't go over well with 17 yr old kids, their parents and their grandparents. Opposing coaches like Lane and the rest of the SEC are going to have a field day with this. I'm sure Pete is pulling his hair out with this news. His job just got harder.
It's late on the 29th. No flip coming.
He's related to Bert Jones and Al Woods

Stoops thought he had the best team in history that year.
Good luck with signing 5 stars after that stunt.

If he was staying with UT, no need to make an anouncement. He's already with UT. No need to commit twice.

The question is - are they good enough to beat OM and UT? If they can't do that, they won't be considered very good and won't make the playoffs.

Yes
re: LSU goes 9-3 this year with losses to Ole Miss, Texas, and Texas A&M.

No playoffs and I will be disappointed. If we win 2 of the 3 I am OK. OM and UT are those 2. All 3 would be great.
If they win OM and UT - it will be a good one.

re: What kind of college life would you have led with NIL $ in your pocket?

I would have saved at least 80%. I think it would have been a huge distraction from putting in study time.
November sounds about right for playing a few snaps.
