Dude was dead on the front porch, but did he just stand there waiting to be shot?
Or was he shot inside the house and momentum carried his dying lascivious body onto the porch?

Dude was, by the way, a walking smooth talking lascivious mess.

But seeing as how the mom shot him in the back of the head, outside of the home. She is definitely going down for murder.

Not only that but in the past she has threatened to execute any man that the daughter may try to bring over.

The "back of the head" part is not a great fact

There could potentially be a unique situation of a scuffle and in the midst of that, she got a shot off as his head was turned. But other than that, sounds like he was facing away from her either running away or execution style.

So since it was outside of the house, this means he was probably running away. Shot in the head either means she's an excellent marksman, or just a "bad" shot on her part. Probably just grabbed the gun and pulled the trigger. She'll def be charged with something. He wasn't breaking in threatening them, he was caught. While I fully support what the mom did, she's gonna have a tough road not going to jail.

Temporary insanity… bring it to a jury in Tn and I’d hope they would do the right thing. I’d much rather they give her a medal…

Or it was an execution.

Of for fricks sake. An adult man hiding in a 13 year old's room does constitute threatening?

I understand her rage but she's in a jam on this one. Where was she coming from at 2am in the morning according to the link to the article? At the end of the day, that's probably why the daughter had a guy hiding under the be.

yeah, failed as a mother and is now likely going to prison.

The more I read it, the more I think that 1st degree murder is likely the correct charge.

Convict her. But sentence her to community service, and consider the time to already be served.

It does when he's in the house.

He got shot on the front porch in the back of the head after the mother had gotten him out of the house.

Again, I'm not losing sleep over this dude being dead, but the mother should've dropped him in the house in the front of his body.

On the surface, it sounds like an over-charge and she might get off.

Assuming the facts stated by catfish are true and she shot him back of the head outside the house, she is going down.

The facts as stated ITT are not good for her. Needs to plea down to manslaughter and get a shorter sentence and not pay the trial tax.

GL to Ms. Scott.

Had she lawyered up and not given a statement, her chances of walking would be vastly increased.
