My kids never went there but the school is good for the city. Lots of good families both white and black and more affordable than some of the others.. They need to get their shite together as I’ve known way to many families leaving and or talking about it for to be nothing..

I have some very left family members whom I visited with last weekend… the first observation, confirmed by both my sons is that they have an incessant need to discuss politics.. I do not bring potential conflicts forward because I can separate the emotion of politics and family… they can’t

With that they were asking me about the oil and gas industry as they are Washington suburb families and have zero understanding about the entire industry and it’s importance in totality.. I tried to dodge the discussion but did say that we’re investing in carbon captures and all that BS. They were beaming how those are transformative and necessary for all of our future.. they took the bait and I asked… What is it and how does it work.. what’s being reduced and how.. I asked who’s gonna pay for it in both credits and industry and what does this do help the environment.. the silence and deflection was priceless. They said that not there problem and I just reiterated that I’m not the one advocating for this but I will be paying for it.. I said simply .. this is the issue in most issues when drilled down to the core.. they want action and money spent on policies and processes that they don’t understand or know the cost..

Unless things have changed somewhat recently.. the badges while attached to an account aren’t attached to a person. There are brokers selling packages every year and ive personally used badges from a few account holders, none I even knew..
