The entire systems pay structure needs to be revamped… teachers want a raise… ok.. call out and demand that admin pay and numbers be reduced to start… the jig is up.. people have repeatedly told municipalities that they can no longer shoulder the burden of continued millage and sales tax hikes..

That’s my rub with the issue after seeing it…

I won’t criticize their decision as they followed the rules but the home plate ump bailed after shaking hands with catcher(a great player in his right) and everyone at first just went about releasing their emotions. The umps started leaving not fully controlling their business. They should look to modifying the rules as they’ve done a lot to curb the excessive celebrations but when that bottle is opened it’s tough to control… As long as the winning run touches home, it shouldn’t matter if they all advance and touch the next base in walk or dead ball play…

In the end. regardless of how they handled it up until the decision to award the appeal , had to follow the established rules.

Id love to see clap get some love from big programs. Kid can flat out play and if he wasn’t undersized, teams would stop doubting their eyes when they see him play and hit..

This is about as bad as I’ve ever seen in the 40 years I’ve followed lsu baseball. I give a partial pass to some years during the gorilla ball era with the juiced bats and players….
