I sometimes go over to Carmel beach first thing in the morning and plunge in the water for about 3 min. Ice cold salty plunge right after sun comes up starts the day off right

I wonder the long term effects this could have on a child's mentality
and weighted against the long term effects of not being a whiny child.

A kid that isn’t a whiny will have a much more pleasant and fulfilling upbringing in everyday life in nearly any environment he is in, than some whiny kid that even the parents don’t want to be in the room with.

We do. We bought one of those fancy Whynter machines. No more hand cranking. No more rock salt. No requirement to put a component in the freezer ahead of time. Although I will say I miss the hand cranking. Us kids having to take turns on the back porch in the summer was a rite of passage.
I’ve recently had homemade ice cream out of two different new age machines. I’m not sure what it is, and I don’t think it’s nostalgia, but they didn’t have the same distinct flavor that my grandma’s old big ice cream maker we would use back in the 80s.
As of now, I hope not. That could change tho.

You could very well be a distant 2nd tho, so pick your chin up Gramps

don’t be an a-hole driver switching lanes without a signal and not knowing someone is passing.

I spend 30 minutes in a vehicle a day on average and have probably 20 cycles pass me lane splitting, I’ve yet to have any issues and have yet to pass an accident involving a motorcycle.

These two assholes (not together mind you) decide that it’s appropriate for them to go between all the cars right in the middle of the road and pass everybody
you know lane splitting is legal in half the states and done by nearly everyone riding a motorcycle, including every motorcycle cop?
