but I’m sure if we had not mentioned it it would not have happened.
Wait...you pay to go on these hunts and generally don't eat the meat? What's the point? ...

re: Sure hope the Democrats fix this ammo shortage. - BlackPot
The demand is far too great for the supply. Any store gets a shipment, everyone stocks up. There will be a "shortage" until the end of time....

re: Does anyone have a Schumacher built home - BlackPot
I'm leaning more metal roof and metal/vinyl for the siding. Long term durability being more important to me.
Don't have a home from them, but here's my .02. I like a metal roof when done right. I've never seen vinyl siding that I liked. Some maintenance here and there outweigh...

re: Thoughts on kitchen bouquet - BlackPot
I use it mainly when cooking pork chops in a gravy. Not much fat, so I never get a good color. I just put a splash when I'm sweating the onions. Never affects the taste in my opinion....

re: The kick.... - BlackPot
wade Richey
Been sitting in the south endzone for 20+ years. He was the only kicker, while I have been there, to kick it the the second level. As a kid getting that ball, I was in awe....

re: Yukon Denali XL or Lincoln Navigator Reserve L - BlackPot
We had a Yukon SLT, the shorter one. We liked it. No major issues. AC condenser went out after a couple years. Seemed like a common issue. Other than that, I liked it. Just too big for the wife to drive. ...

re: anyone have/use a pallet breaker? - BlackPot
I did my entire patio ceiling with pallet wood. I cannot tell you how many freaking pallets I dismantled. My best tool was a sawzall with long metal cutting blades. Get a bunch of them. That made short work of pallets. Never tired that pallet breaker, but the saw was the most successful....
TigerGrad2011
I see a lot of long explanations. If you need a resource on your company's network (file on a server, a program on a local server, etc.), then you connect to the vpn. ...

re: New Home Build - Master Closet - BlackPot
Also, are you trying to have all the clothes in there?
Our goal is to have 1 dresser (mine), side night stands, and a bed in the room. We sold our house that had no room and our master was always the storage. Including the baby bed, and the baby's clothes. Had enough . Lo...

New Home Build - Master Closet - BlackPot
I know there are always new home threads about "What should I do", but I have a question that I haven't seen. Right now in our temp rent house, we are sharing a single closet. Older style, 2 tier rod style, accordion doors. It's brutal. In my house plans now, the closet is set for 4'-11" x 10'...

re: Cost of new floors - BlackPot
I'm not doing them at all in a $350K house.
Why not? Just curious. If you have a family, dogs, in and out a lot, etc., then this is a good choice. Very durable and with withstand a lot. Plus, whatever area you are in, sadly a $350k house isn't what it used to be 20 years ago....

re: Temporary Patio Cover - BlackPot
That's what I've been going back and forth with. If it would be sturdy enough. I guess 4 or 5 concrete anchors really wouldn't be a big deal. Probably just go that route. ...

re: Temporary Patio Cover - BlackPot
Use 4x4 wood, maybe some concrete and call it a day.
Just so nothing is permanent I'll do some 4x4s in buckets with concrete. I'll make some headers with 2x8s. Should be sturdy enough to hold the shade in place....
