I don't disagree with anything stated. Nor do I think this is linked to Voter fraud. I just find it a serious issue of control when these voting machines are found abandoned and our state government doesn't lose their minds.

In my industry this lack of control would result in terminations.

Nice save. There should be an investigation into what a shitty, misleading thread this was. It isn't nice to prey on the gtHoggs of the world.

The thread title is verbatim the news article. The photo is from the news article. How is this misleading? I never stated it was voter fraud. I said clearly I wanted a serious investigation, but I have a sneaking suspicion that "Outdated" is the only thing we will ever see of this.

Why couldn’t that machine have been used as a test-bed for changing votes? Why couldn’t someone have imaged the software to be used for nefarious purposes?

I mean, that's a lot of assumptions. You'd need some way of proving that.

I’m simply asking: why couldn’t that be the case?

Diebold and Dominion are different machines. It's unlikely they used these in a 2020 fraud attempt. I'm not sure what benefit there would be to using this machine for that purpose.

Simply nothing to see here.

No questions need to be asked. Doing so make you a conspiracy nut.

And a racist.

Why couldn’t it have been used to perpetrate fraud in 2016 or, again, as a way to practice fraud for 2020?

Do you not think this machine, its past whereabouts and its contents need to be investigated?

Is this too much to ask?

I 100% think the state should have it's hair on fire about this.

The the lack of control for any part of the chain of ownership on these devices is a problem. The SOS should have been on TV announcing the find and taking this far more serious than "It's outdated and we think it was on its way to the port for storage"

Edit: I have to clarify that this was not a "Dominion" voting machine, but a "Diebold" one. I was mistakenly told it was dominion, but after looking at the pictures, it's labeled Diebold.

quote:

In May 2010, Dominion acquired Premier Election Solutions (formerly Diebold Election Systems) from Election Systems & Software (ES&S). ES&S had just acquired PES from Diebold and was required to sell off PES by the United States Department of Justice for anti-trust concerns.[9] In June 2010, Dominion acquired Sequoia Voting Systems.[10]
