I’ve seen bobcats but they are a rare sight. Foxes are another very stealthy animal

Everyone who is over 18 gets to vote on property tax increases. Not all of them are renters or property owners.

Why would I have needed a prenup? I didn’t have any assets to protect at the age of 27. My wife and I didn’t have anything but each other when we married.

If cutting payments by 20% is the worst it gets, seems like an easy fix. Cut payments or kill the program.

re: What would be the best degree to pair with a Computer Science Degree in todays job market?
Posted by Dawgfanman on 6/24/26 at 7:31 pm to FlyingTigerBo
I wouldn’t major in computer science. Maybe the market changes in 4-5 years but it seems bad right now for people. Global competition for jobs is only going to get bigger and they will work for cheaper.

If my wife left me tomorrow it would all have been worth it and I wouldn’t change a thing.

A family gives a man a purpose greater than “having fun”. Protecting, providing, leading…it’s what men are designed to do. Nurturing, “nest”building, raising children, building social bonds is what women are designed to do.
Most annoying person is the 50-60 year old guy who has never been married or had kids who tries to convince you how great his life is today because of that fact.

Everything you just described is factually incorrect, at no point in modern history has an enemy’s military been destroyed to the last man lol that is just stupid. Germany had been demolished by the Spring of 45 yet could still field hundreds of thousands of soldiers, so could Japan yet there overall military capabilities had been destroyed. The Viet Cong’s military capabilities were destroyed after TET yet they still could field thousands of guerilla fighters. Germany still controlled hundreds of miles of trenches along the French border at the end of WW1 yet their military capabilities had been destroyed when they surrendered. I don’t know why this is difficult to grasp? Just because you destroy an enemy’s overall military capability as a whole doesn’t mean they aren’t capable of inflicting damage in certain situations like miles of rugged coastline along the Strait. List all of the ships they have sunk in the Strait? It’s their threats of sinking them that civilian companies aren’t willing to risk not some massive Iranian fleet blockading the waterway
So the fact seems clear that they are and always will be able to “control” the traffic through the strait. That is a significant military capability. Either we have to be willing to exclude the threats, companies have to be willing to take the risks, or they have to be appeased. What other options are there?
What are we doing there exactly?

I think most critical thinking Americans believe that what you describe are significant military capabilities. If Iran can still control the strait, we haven’t destroyed their military capabilities.
If we won’t do what needs to be done (and it seems clear we won’t) then just admit they run shite in the strait and leave.

Are the MAGA clowns really in here clamoring for a ME war escalation? Syria: disaster Somalia: disaster Afghanistan: disaster Iraq: disaster Libya: disaster Sudan: disaster At what point do we learn that spending trillions of dollars (that we don’t have) and killing thousands of people actually makes things worse and not better? Making America first would mean an end to our involvement in the ME and focusing on this hemisphere. frick those people and leave them to their own devices.
The reason all those were disaster is none of them were escalated enough. Lessons need to be taught. I do agree if our leaders don’t have the guts to do that, they need to just go isolationist.

This is what happens when a president starts a war on a whim and has absolutely no idea what the consequences are going to be. He listens to no one, even the folks around him. Is anyone surprised? Trump is a joke no matter how hard his cult sucks him off
This is what happens when the world allows Middle Ages mentality people to control a nation for 50 years. These nutbags need to be disciplined and/or exterminated. They have no right to hold the world hostage until they get their way. They don’t have this right because in all reality they don’t have the power to do so, we need leaders from somewhere with actual power to destroy them. Restraint on the part of the “civilized” world is the problem here. Kill every fricking one of them until those that are left cower in fear and live in poverty.
