I'd consider not doing a joint account. I'm not a lawyer, but I'm assuming 1 of you was given this money as inheritance? Personally I'd put it in that persons' name.

If your wife inherited it, you want it in both names, if you inherited it, you want it in your name only.

If they want on campus housing or apartment during college they will need to get a job and pay for that.

I don’t pay their tuition/fees, it’s covered by scholarships. I do pay their rent. They cover food/fun/books. Rent is expensive (850 each a month) but they have a nice place and their own bathroom, all utilities included, individual lease so no concerns if roommates come or go.

In my state living on campus is required if it’s more than 30 miles from your home, this is at nearly every state university. It was cheaper when they moved to student centric apartments.

Expect them to change majors or otherwise need 5 years to finish, my only things to add to your thoughts (2 in college 20 and 22).

Both should graduate in the spring, youngest already has a job lined up due to internship this past summer. Oldest is kinda lost in the wilderness about what he will do, I don’t really care as long as he works full time after he hopefully graduates in May.

Black Indigenous family ?? WTF??

There is an entire corner of the internet where some black people claim to be the original Americans, that they were here before the Indians and the slaves.

No reason to give them help in court, on the side of the road.

Nothing anyone says on the side of the road for a routine speeding stop is ever going to appear in court And besides his radar and his testimony wins unless he doesn’t show anyway.

Answering the “where are you coming from” with a restaurant or bar will always lead to the “have you had anything to drink” and that can and would be used against you depending on the answer. I wasn’t talking about a routine speeding stop (I don’t speed). I was talking about a traffic stop that starts with questions that are obviously police fishing for info to use against you, which is what “where are you coming from/where are you going” are.

This is like the people who do roadside tests. Why? To prove to the cop you aren’t drunk? How often does that not lead to arrest anyway. If you are not drunk, don’t take the walk the line tests, wait on the chemical/breath test. Those tests are just to make you look stupid on video for court.

Refusing to answer questions is only going to slow you down at best.

It will also prevent anything I say from being used in a court of law.

We didn’t “luck into” anything, your team was not good enough to get to Atlanta. You lost to two teams whose arse we kicked that year.

100% What is the statistic, only about 55% of people have retirement accounts and only 45% have 1k lying around to cover an emergency expense? The avg person in America doesn't give a shite about the stock market, they are looking at everyday prices.

Most of these people aren’t net tax payers (they get more than they give) and shouldn’t be able to vote.
If he didn’t like 9000 and the only thing in writing anywhere was 6200, that would be my next offer.
What’s the paperwork for the estimate say? Anything else in writing?
Oil hasnt been going thru the Strait for 5 months, its not needed.

Not even personality. There were multiple that said "I feel good about myself today, so definitely 85," like that mattered at all. "Confidence is attractive, and I'm confident, so 93"

Men also find willingness attractive..not one said “I am DTF so I’d say 90”

“I pulled into my driveway, and all of a sudden, a police officer pulls in behind me,” he recalled. “I said, you know, ‘Can I help you? Did I do something wrong?’ And he said, ‘Well, your car's registration has expired.' “So I looked, and it was in my wife's name. I somehow missed it. Of course, we got it taken care of

I’ve watched plenty of these stops. Was he pulled from the car, patted down, forced to do road side sobriety checks, and asked to have his car searched/waited for a k9 to sniff? If not, why?

The oil and products that come from the strait are critical for the world, it would crush the world economy if closed…..5 months later..world economy still humming along..

Looks like they sell equipment directly to companies so it is not data that is coming from government sources. Kinda creepy, but still you have zero expectation of privacy in a public setting.

Their business is selling data. The users are govt, insurance, banks, and various investigators. It’s creepy and I didnt say people have an expectation of privacy. I don’t think most people know about such companies and the amount of data about them that is available to LEO and non LEO agencies.

Right. So can you point me to any reliable evidence or documentation that they are selling info gathered from the cameras?

Not all LPRs are flock. Some companies definitely sell the data, it’s purchased by insurance companies for investigations.
It’s been 5+ months, Iran just proving the world doesn’t need the oil from the Straits
