It's been a busy week for Grand Valley State defensive tackle transfer Jay'viar Suggs.

The 6-3, 282-pound sophomore from Flint, Mich., is one of the transfer portal's top available defensive tackles and could go public with a commitment soon.

On Tuesday, Suggs released his top schools list, which included USC, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Florida State, Kentucky, and Michigan.

LSU joined the party on Wednesday by extending an offer to Suggs and will look to get him on campus for a visit.

Following the LSU offer, Suggs trimmed down his final school list to four teams: LSU, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Kentucky.

Over the past two seasons, Suggs has registered 42 tackles, 14.5 tackles for a loss, 8.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, and nine passes defended.

This has ruined college ball for me. I’m not excited about the upcoming seasons anymore. I stopped the season tickets 4 years ago and I’ve been in it since the end of Stovall.

I see he dropped USC, Arkansas and Florida St. for LSU so that's something.

They are fighting hard for a GVS tackle. Does this mean we’ll suffer on D again?

This dude is actually pretty solid. Can’t be 100% sure with d2 guys but he’s definitely worth taking.
