Alcohol is a miserable drug. I enjoy the night, but rarely sleep well and almost always have terrible depression and anxiety the next day.

In.

I do it every year. It’s the easiest way to drop those 5 lbs I gain every holiday season.

This past March I decided to see if could do 100 days alcohol free.

Haven’t had a drink since. Hit the 9 month mark Christmas Eve. And I feel great. Don’t really miss it. My goal now is to do a full year.

Lots of Heroes in the thread.

I am not joking. Quitting the sauce is a challenging yet worthy aspiration.

Think of all those hungover losers on New Year’s Day.

We’re all better than that.

I quit drinking about 15 months ago - in my mid 40s and got tired of being hungover post drinking.

One of the best decisions I've ever made for myself

I drank last night and am not hungover.... you do know it's possible to drink in moderation right?

In. The fact that I think about quitting and/or cutting back should enough of a sign.

I don't black out, I don't get violent, I generally go to bed without my clothes on etc, and don't often have hangovers..but I think I'm just drinking too often.

My issue is I start feeling bad after just a few drinks - nasal congestion, sinus pressure, etc. I have often wondered if I am allergic to something in alcohol

I am so done with drinking.

I am going with more of a cliche resolution. Losing weight and getting healthy

But I am not pulling the trigger on an occasional drink just yet
