I knew Skeens was big, but he’s so much bigger than Allen

This kid could have taken his redshirt at the end of the year and left lsu with no one to play quarterback. Thank you young man for not quitting on this team when you could have.
I totally agree about taking the late flight home. If you do this, make sure to book an extra night. This way you can do whatever you want during the day and get cleaned up before your flight home. We usually just relax on the beach or by the pool the last day, get cleaned up, go eat dinner and then head to the airport.

Some of you youngsters don’t remember the dark ages. I give you Hudson "Curley" Hallman. His overall record was 16–28; his winning percentage of .364 is the worst for a non-interim coach in school history. To date, Hallman is the only LSU coach since the formation of the SEC to have never tallied a winning record or coached in a bowl game.
Doesn’t he get a $100,000 if lsu win?

If I’m betting a meaningless bowl game, I’m taking the military schools. No opt outs and always play hard
Enjoyed that
Technically he has a card through 2028 from winning the 2023 PGA Championship.
re: When you were a kid, did you go looking for your Christmas presents?
Posted by lsujag on 12/23/25 at 7:27 pm to boxcarbarney
My brother and I would wait for our parent to go to sleep and then we would sneak downstairs and see what “Santa” had brought us. We would take it upstairs and play for a bit before putting it back. My parents couldn’t believe we would sleep in on Christmas but the two of us had been up all night playing with our new stuff.
Well they should have won in south bend earlier this year. I’m glad A&M lost but ND didn’t beat anyone
re: American Airlines stops offering miles and other rewards for basic economy fares

Basic economy is the cheapest seats they have. You have to pay for seats if you want to pick where you sit. The people that are buying basic economic aren’t really accumulating miles for travel. If you want miles, just buy a regular ticket.
It’s not like he was going there.
Need to correct your heading. Should say the college 12 team playoffs

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (September 19, 2025) – The Southeastern Conference will announce the football opponents for the next four years for every SEC school on a one-hour television special, SEC Now: 2026-29 Football Opponents Reveal, scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, at 7 pm ET on SEC Network and ESPN2. The show will be hosted by SEC Network’s Alyssa Lang with commentary and analysis from Auburn national championship winning coach Gene Chizik, ‘Mouth of the South’ Paul Finebaum, former Alabama standout quarterback Greg McElroy and Super Bowl champion Benjamin Watson. The show will provide the match-ups and sites of SEC football games for the next four years. The dates of games for the 2026 SEC football season will be announced in December. The SEC announced in August that it would begin playing a nine-game football schedule beginning in 2026. The SEC previously has played eight conference games each year since 1992. Under the new format, each school will play three annual opponents focused on maintaining many traditional rivalries, and each team’s remaining six games will rotate among the remaining conference schools. The new format will allow each team to play every other SEC program at least once every two years and every opponent home and away in four years, making it the most fair and balanced schedule in the history of the Conference. SEC teams are also required to schedule at least one additional high quality non-conference game from the Atlantic Coast, Big Ten or Big 12 conferences or Notre Dame each season.
From the sec website. Notice that last sentence
No, he’s right. Sec is requiring one p4 non conference game moving forward
Especially if Alabama gets left out this year. Sankey will end it before the years up if it cost him a team in the playoffs, which it might this year

Last January, we took a day trip from the Big Island to see Pearl Harbor. Was just an amazing, yet humbling experience. While visiting a museum, you are also visiting a grave site. I definitely recommend anyone going to Hawaii, no matter what island you visit, to go spend time at Pearl
