We are going on MSC seascape out of Galveston in January. I've been on Royal and carnival. I prefer carnival over royal (if it's a 7 day). As another user posted check YouTube channels to see what matches your goals and priorities

I'm taking a trip next month and wanted to drive the coast between LA and San Diego while I was out there. Which areas would you say are a must see along pacific highway 1 traveling south? La Jolla? Anything else? Would even be open to driving north coast towards Malibu and further north, whichever is more scenic just looking for insight for those familiar with the area
