In practice, diversity is really just used to mean more minorities, especially more black people.

Like news articles will often describe a school that's 100% black as being a diverse school. Even though it's really as un-diverse as a school can possibly be.

Years ago, hairdressers started letting people with unruly hair or hair that couldn't be cleaned as often without becoming a mess know that it was okay to skip days washing. This was great news for those people because cleaning their hair too often was causing them damage and issues styling it.

As a result, the word spread and the pendulum swung so far in the other direction that even to this day, you have misinformed women with naturally healthy/straight-ish hair going days upon days with rancid hair when their hair can take normal washing just fine.

The myth has been debunked numerous times in recent years by people who know a lot more than random hairdressers, but a lot of women still walk around with the idea in their head that they must "train" their hair to be filthy for ~health~.

I constantly try to trace by my random thoughts I have to their genesis. It’s kind of fun to see how/why you have a random memory pop up from like 10 years ago simply by seeing something out of the corner of your eye.

I don’t think this really applies to “free will” does it? That’s just external stimuli. We as sentient beings still have the ability and will to process that stimuli and decide what to do with it.

Though some have better impulse control than others

I suspect that 'high cholesterol' is a metric that's been adjusted to force you onto medication when it's not always necessary.

I have healthy, straight, shoulder length hair. I tried going a day or two without washing it and I felt DISGUSTING. It changed how I view women. Now I look at them and think damn she's probably nasty I wonder how long it's been since she's washed her hair.

You can be anything you set your mind to be (irrespective to your DNA).

Circumcision…

Animals don’t have feelings.

No can do on wearing white after Labor Day…

You will go to prison if remove mattress tag.

Taking hat off when entering a building…matters.

Engagement rings are necessary.

I think it’s sort of what you’re saying here combined of their population numbers being inflated.

One of the executives at my company was born in the early 80s in China. She had an older sibling, and the way she describes her parent’s explanation to her is “we paid extra fees to have you”.

Apparently, the policy wasn’t enforced criminally the way we think about it, but it was definitely punitive in other ways (mostly financial and opportunity costs). Basically they just make life suck for you as a deterrent for others, and that was enough for people to either avoid having more kids or “remove unwanted kids from the picture”…girls in particular.

The “girls in particular” part is what is currently screwing them demographically.
