Shot a doe about 35yds away. The inconsistent blood trail that quickly went faint was a discouraging sign. Continued to look hard and follow it.
Two hours later, finally found it down in the cattails probably 200 yards from where I first shot. Damn gut shot.

NFL uniforms were much more colorful prior to the mid 90s. They've become dark and dull since.
