Why can’t we control the Strait of Hormuz?

It’s fricking embarrassing that Iran can still strike tankers in the strait even in the US Navy “protected” lane.

Trump has fricked the war up so bad because he’s too risk averse. Either fight to win or wave the white flag.

Drones that the US military isn’t prepared for after years of watching drone warfare in Ukraine.

Iran doesn’t control it.

They get lucky with a potshot now and then but that is far from control.

Well, where ever that shot came from, it was quickly destroyed.

Their goal is to stop or severely limit the flow of oil through the strait. Right now the flow of oil is at best 25% compared to pre war levels. So “luck pot shot” or not, they’re accomplishing their goal and we aren’t accomplishing any of ours.

Right. This will be the blemish on Trump's record

What a complete failure

Now "winning" looks like just getting back to the status quo before the war. What a fricking pathetic disgrace this is.

This is a small example of what a geographical nightmare it is.

Status quo was a terrorist state enriching uranium.

What’s embarrassing is that you don’t realize how much waterway the straight consist of and how it’s impossible to stop every little shitty drone from reaching a ship.

If a tornado damaged your trailer, could you rebuilt it or is there a law of physics that prevents damaged/destroyed things from being rebuilt?

Plus our navy is hiding far away out at sea.

US public will not stand for drone videos of servicemen being blown apart.

Bingo. The US controls it. And Bessent just tightened the financial screws on their economic support further by warning countries they face US sanctions if they assist Iran.

I don't think you rebuild destroyed trailers. I think you just go get new ones

But this isn't a house. It's a highly complex system of uranium enrichment that took Iran decades to develop. Expensive machines that took many years to smuggle in and set up and calibrate.

And Trump said he totally obliterated all of that a year ago.

And now you say they're back to enriching uranium? How so quickly?

Perhaps Trump misinformed us the first time around?
