It’s going to continue to fund its proxies in the region and now they’ve proven they’re willing and able to close the strait whenever they chose. Strategically we’re in a worse position now than we were when we started the war.

When was the last time we bombed them? Really no need to anymore. Now we starve them out. I guess you did not notice that their currency is now worth less than ever. One US dollar is worth 2 million of theirs. The trade embargo that is starting today will starve them out, period. No need to bomb a pile of rubble.

We just have to escort ships for the foreseeable future, accept higher gas prices because of the reduced volume, and every now and then Iran will sneak a drone through and bomb some tankers.
