Ohhhh noooooo!!!!
I’ve missed your post. Good luck with the garage sales
It depends on how much it’s worth it to you.
The private restrooms make it worth it if my wife is with me.

If you are looking for free, the first place to check is along City Park Avenue.
Next to try for is the neighborhood along Bayou St John.

The best idea is to park at Duechts house. I think they charge $20 and it’s secure and you can get beer there and take a piss.

Meh. I’m pro Trump but there really isn’t any proof of this yet.

re: Pensions

It became too expensive as more and more people started living longer.

Example is my grandfather retired at age 65 and he received a pension until he died at age 92.

Quit being a dickhead. You made your point.

Not having to worry about parking makes the zoo better

Yeah I guess having to pull into a downtown parking lot or garage is too stressful for you.
The zoo is much better if you want a long outing.

knew someone that did the one on the Mississippi. They said it was a lot of old people and that there was a TON of downtime and that they read several books.

I could def see how foreigners and old folks from up north would be interested in this.

There are decent tourist things and historical spots to visit at all those ports other than Pascougula. I don’t know what they would do there.

The price is stupid though.
Always a tough subject.
Metairie and Nola private school kids are the cream of the crop in this shitty state.

Im seeing more and more electrical lawn mowers and leaf blowers and the insane noise pollution is getting better

I finally got a battery leaf blower last year and it is great.

There is nothing yet that can convince me to switch to a battery weedeater, edger, or especially a lawnmower.
We sometimes stop at the Shed except for middle of the summer.
When the kids are with us we will get off just past Mobile and go to one of the restaurants to the right on the water. They aren’t great, but that would get us into vacation mood.

Of course if you want real quick, there is a Chik Fil A in the route and starting in June, you will have the south MS Buc-ees.
This is a small opening that may or may not happen and it won’t last very long.
These folks are sky screaming for attention.

In the case of the US, military spending does not equal military superiority.

But it does. Despite the flaws many like to focus on, we are by far the most dominant military.

In general we have it so great here, that many spend half their waking time focusing on the negative. I guess they have nothing better to do that focus on negative things on the internet. A lot of the world’s people have to focus on trying to survive day to day.

What’s the last song Stray Cats would play at closing time?

Pretty sure it was New York or whatever the name was. I remember lining up in a row doing the leg left thing at the end of the night. That’s when you knew you had to try to make a last minute play to try to get a woman to go home with you.

The superbowl focus and cleanup has probably kept the New Orleans numbers down some

The big drop in murders started last summer due to three things mainly.
The state police came in and hunted down some of the worst criminals.
The DA finally got his head out of his arse and is starting to do his job.
NOPD staffing rose a little.
