This whole discussion is idiotic. The Kpler marine traffic numbers are out there, Drop Site News tweets out the numbers all the time. The administration claims 500 other ships with their transponders off are being escorted through, then everybody believes what they want.

The flights that went over your house had transponders on and can be tracked. The transponders on the ships passing through the straits are turned off. You nor I know.

The U.S. has far more control. If the U.S. says you can't pass, you aren't passing.

Trump and many other Presidential candidates have stated while campaigning for President that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon. In the past everyone elected President has always had time to play kick the can and try to stop Iran from obtaining a nuke through sanctions and economic pressure. If those means didn’t work then it was always going to be the case that military action would be needed to stop Iran from obtaining a nuke. It was always going to be the case that some Presidential candidate saying that Iran can’t have a nuke would not be able to play kick the can anymore because eventually Iran would arrive at the point of breaking out. Well that’s what happened. Trump campaigned on Iran can’t have a nuke. Sanctions had not worked or stopped them from developing a nuke. They were on the threshold of having a nuke. Trump had ran out of room. It was put up or shut up time. He had to either just let them have a nuke or stop them military because there was no more room to play kick the can. If you want to criticize Trump for the way he has handled this war since the original 2 week ceasefire then have at it. I have plenty of criticism myself. But we can’t criticize Trump for misleading the American people while campaigning when it comes to this issue. He clearly said Iran can’t have a nuke. That meant there was always a chance for military action. He didn’t lie about it. I would say he was pretty honest about it.
