re: PRIMETIME NEWS: Obama suggests rap music contributed to Trump’s support among Black men
Kinda true. Dems had to keep their mouths shut about Trumps questionable taste and ridiculous expenditures for just this reason when Trump got elected. They probably would have liked to use it against him but they couldn’t.

I mean Mac Miller is more responsible for Trumps “blowup” in rap music considering dude made a whole song about him. Rest In Peace Mac, dude was very talented no matter what your opinions on rap music are

If I were black I would be furious with his thought process. He is basically saying the black voters who voted Trump are simple minded and only voted for him due to Trump's bling. Wow. They voted for him because they believe in his message. This should blow up in his face but it won't. I pray the black community is starting to see what the dems truly think of them.

Well, “Trump” rhymes with “rump” and “pump” so those songs kind of just write themselves.

Idk man. If rap music can get Trump support among blacks, then can't it also influence you t black males to kill each other and beat up women and sell drugs and steal shit?

Maybe we should examine that angle as much as we do systemic racism.

re: PRIMETIME NEWS: Obama suggests rap music contributed to Trump’s support among Black men
On the Brilliant Idiots podcast with Charlamagne the God & Andrew Shultz, Charla said people associated with the Trump campaign was offering rappers and other black people the trump campaign thought had some influence in the black community, money.

50 cent said he was first offered $500k and after he turned it down hey offered him $1M. He SAID he didn't accept it, but he said there was no doubt lil Wayne got paid.

CTG said he was offered money by someone not directly associated with Trump, but was campaigning for him and he turned it down.

So they were trying to hit that base pretty hard.
