Just read a pregnant woman was killed by a falling tree in Erwinville. And I have a few limbs down in my own yard . Im not going to lie, I took the dog to the hall and hunkered down.

I'm just glad i'm not on call tonight. Although I'm sure I will be this week sometime and it'll be busy.

Looking at the map it's not that awful. Some isolated areas sure but not hurricane or even tornado bad. Give it a little time.

Looks like we’ll be out of power for a while over here in Southdowns considering all the other outages.
Unfortunately that May 16th estimate might be more accurate than I thought.

I got the 5/16 message too and my power just came back on. I’ll bet most is restored tonight.

After clearing trees for the last 5 hours, let's just say I'd be amazed if they are back up and going by the 16th.

If you see a baw tomorrow in a suit who looks like he was up all night doing man work, I'll take a double shot of espresso.

In Lafayette area running that Costco tri fuel Firman generator on natural gas. Fired right up. I can’t let two refrigerators spoil.

No estimate on power yet but the line is on the ground and one of the poles snapped. So not tonight, that’s for sure

We lucked up. Blinked out 2 or 3 times and that was it.

We usually lose power for 24 hours or more with even the most basic thunder storm or wind event. Was legit shocked we didn’t lose power.

I find it odd it’s been 12 hours since my power went out and there’s still no expected time when it will come back on.
