Is the OT currently pro or anti-cat?

I forget, although I don't understand how anyone could hate cats.

We had 2 cats (sisters) who both died of polycystic kidney disease at age 8, within 3 months of each other. Weird genetic thing. Just got two new kittens and they are cute as hell.

And yeah, I like dogs too. Have a big one.

i like dogs and cats, but have more respect for cats.

cats can take care of themselves, dogs are like having a girlfriend or a child. also seems like needy people hate cats. "I wanna lord over mah animals and feel like i'm the boss!" that's what i think of when i see/hear people who have an irrational hatred of cats.

I don't want an animal that's going to eat me when I croak

I am rather fond of cats, however, my allergies are not

I’d be better off eating a bowl of poison ivy than I would be if I held a cat for 30 seconds.

Pro dog, Pro cat.

I lost my cat right about mid December, and that was tough. I'm not quite ready yet replacing her. Time will come when I get another one.

Pro

I have two. A soon to be 17 year old calico (next month) and a solid gray one-year old tomcat.

A cool sociable cat is better than a dog imho. They are hard to find though.

Our cat of 16 years died like a year and a half ago. I’m still loving not having to deal with the litter box.

My wife (no pics) and young daughters are just starting to push for another cat. They’re trying to wear me down but

If I were to relentlessly go in the kitchen, open cabinets, and randomly pull stuff out onto the floor and leave those things there for someone else to pick up, my wife would rightly call me an a-hole.
