And he can tell them that in Spanish.

Marco Rubio will be a very strong candidate. I agree.

They clearly were NOT Republican voters and were instead SWING voters.

Brett Baier asked Trump and he flat out said no people are fine with the war and blamed it on gas prices and the candidates he "was forced to pick" instead.

So we can believe sources now, or not? I get so confused about when anonymous sources describing friction in the Trump admin are to be trusted.

Once again, JD proves that he is one of the only Republicans who understands what exactly is going on with the voters.

The guy who once called Trump "Hitler" and said he was a "never trump guy" before buddying up to him.....is a flip flopper...consider me shocked

It is funny to me that he is telling us why republicans lost when we have been telling them for a while now. "its oblivious to almost everyone"... nah dude you just werent listening. The people were pretty clear about their frustrations.

At this point, maybe the republican party will realize that the constant insults and lack of decorum isn't going to win elections. Work with the other side, find solutions and do you job...plain and simple. Id argue that people on both ends of the political spectrum arent happy. MAGA would say they havent done enough, and democrats would say they havent worked with dems enough. So do your job

?

It's not a secret or really denied by anyone that Vance voiced objection toward the Iran war. If it were in dispute in any way, the flood of money and bad press from pro-Israel/GOPe places (Commentary, WSJ, NRO, etc.) against Vance over the last 6-8 months would be sufficient to confirm the rumors. But they weren't really rumors, it's widely known.

Now he's going to work with the same party that tried to tank his agenda and assassinate him.

Pretty straight forward critique of himself and the Admin he serves.

Can anyone link another VP coming across after a loss like this?

He will get roasted for now, but I would not count him out just yet.

Politics are really strange at times.....

For those who did this, I have to ask what it is you think Democrats will do that you want them to do?

Nobody fears JDeeznuts.

Smug shape shifters who can’t tell a joke and are covered in the stink of a wildly unpopular President aren’t winning anything.

I agree with all 3 of these. And as a result, the Republican Party would be much better off going with DeSantis and actually stabilizing their operations, before moving forward at some later point with another ideologue.

I like Vance, and think he could be a terrific president one day, but Desantis’s competency and consistency is what is needed in 2028/2032.

The only “our” voters for either side cancel each other out and the outcome is determined by “me” voters. That’s what the asshat republicans ignore. Anybody with any sense knows that to fix this country there has to be a reset to when the American dream was working to make my life a little better than the previous generation while setting it up for the next generation to have the opportunity to do the same.

The majority of Americans are shortsighted and selfish and the American dream has become I want everything I want, and I want to put out minimal effort for it because I deserve to be happy, and to heck with everybody else.

Democrats will be doing none of this.

And is anyone here willing to admit they voted dem because Iran? I see people claim this as a big reasoning so some posters here must have voted dem because of Iran.
