Not the end of the world but we have to play better next week.

Gabby again, you had time.

Yeah that first 20 minutes or so we looked all over the place. The midfield was out of sorts, none of them got close enough to dembele, just left him alone on that goal.

At least we are getting closer.

Come on Gabby. Ball was too close to him.
Boys must be nervous because Wenger is there.
We look bad.

This is not good.

Timber should have probably been sent off already.

Who would have thought that Timber and Saliba would be our week link sin defense?

Also, Elon is pretty much leaving doge next month (which I called correctly on here)

You did not call it.

He only had 130 days as a special government employee.

You sound like an uninformed idiot.

So they didn’t need a strong leader in the past to take on the US?

Actually, if we didn’t have power here in the us. Everyone would be moving south of the mason Dixon line.

Cold kills more than heat does.

Other stuff

quote:

• Food and Agriculture: • Terminated 239 contracts worth $1.7 billion, including a “Queer Farmers ‘Food Justice’ Program.” • Targeted Department of Agriculture programs, including the U.S. Forest Service, though specific cuts were not detailed.

• Social Security and Veterans’ Services:
• While DOGE has not explicitly cut Social Security or veterans’ health care, its focus on expired programs (e.g., the Veterans’ Health Care Eligibility Act, $119 billion in 2024) has raised concerns about potential future cuts.

• Other:
• Canceled a $143,000 DoT contract, though details were not specified.
• Terminated contracts at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Education Department worth over $900 million combined.
• Targeted programs like Head Start, NASA, and NOAA, which have expired authorizations.

Cnsulting contracts

quote:

• DOGE has focused on canceling consulting contracts deemed wasteful or non-essential.

• Terminated 58 contracts worth over $150 million, including media and consulting categories, such as $405,000 at DHS for “resilience, energy, and sustainability management program support services.”
• Axed 36 contracts across six agencies, saving $165 million.
• Canceled a $4.6 million Department of Education contract to coordinate Zoom and in-person meetings and a $3 million contract to write a report that showed prior reports were underutilized.

I don't think they are cutting. It's just identifying and recommending.

They definitely cut dei programs per Trump’s EO.

quote:

• Terminated 85 DEI contracts worth approximately $1 billion across over 10 agencies, including contracts for “DEIA program and project support” at the Department of Transportation (DoT) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
• Canceled a $1.6 million DEI contract for “strategies for implementing ‘social emotional’ learning.”
• Eliminated three DEI training grants at the Department of Education, including one tied to a “Decolonizing the Curriculum” workshop, saving $15 million.
• Trump’s executive order on January 20, 2025, terminated all federal roles, offices, and programs related to DEI, with DOGE announcing 104 DEI contract terminations by January 31, 2025.

I mean this looks like money laundering.

It probably is.

Lots of people do shady finance shite with their campaigns. So I’m not throwing shade on them. Just seems like this actually could end Casey’s run.
The federal government’s role is limited to powers explicitly granted or reasonably implied, with all else left to states or individuals.

re: World Cup pre-sales

They do have the thing if you buy tickets to the club world cup this summer you get the right to buy world cup tickets.

Might be worth looking at that if you also want to go watch some of the clubs play this summer.

You have teams like Bayern, Atheltico Madrid, Chelsea, Dortmund, Boca Jrs, Inter Miami, Inter Milan, Juventus, City, PSG, Porto, and Madrid playing this summer.

The women made it to the final. Now it's the men's turn.
