That's not true. He was a HC in high school for 10 years before moving to Temple as a WR coach and then has been coaching at PSU since 2014 w/most of that being the AHC/CB coach. He's got roughly the coaching experience Dabo Swinney had when he was tapped at Clemson.
That said, they shouldn't hire him b/c he was stupid enough to wear a JoPa pin on the field either this year. They should keep away anyone that foolish.

I think he did pretty well considering he wasn't even supposed to play Eli and only had 4 days to prep. He was originally going to just be the brother w/the oil tip at the start. The actor playing Eli dropped out after a couple weeks of filming and PTA decided to give the role to Dano.
