Good stats and nice height. Did he grow late in high school?

quote:I said it was my "guess" that he started the ball rolling with Waters and Smart, although even on the latter he was talking to others who could pay. His willingness to start there probably triggered others to invest in others. I never suggested he bankrolled everyone.
So you actually believe Wade used his PERSONAL cash to buy, Naz, Javonte , Emmett, Tremont, etc... ??
When you think about it, a personal $500k investment can go a long way.

quote:A combination of personal funds to start (Waters and Smart) followed by booster funds would be my guess.
Do you have an explanation for how Wade raised the funds for the various blue chip recruits that played for him at LSU?
quote:McMahon was hired to run a clean program in Wade's wake. Risk taking was off the table. When NIL kicked in there wasn't booster support that was needed.
Why hasn't McMahon procured this funding during his first 3 years here?
quote:No, because he was fired. With the NCAA attention no way would he would have been allowed to play fast and loose. And since you couldn't trust him to lay low for a few years, you had to fire him.
Could reasonable people agree Wade WOULD HAVE somehow, some way gotten better funding than McMahon the last 3 years in order to win more games?
I'm hopeful for 12-6. Would love to see them win the 1st 6 in a row.
Madking,
Give your prediction. Spell it out for us.

The last couple games he came in early and the other team caught up. Now it wasn't anything that Zipper did in particular, but it happened.
In tonight's game with the other team already leading and Max hitting 2-5 from 3, bringing in Zipper would have been high risk with little reward.
That would have been more than enough to not play him. Now if he wasn't there for some other reason, so be it. But there is more than enough for ANY coach to keep him out without second guessing like the haters will.

Nobody wants their team to lose. It is ok to voice concerns. Posting shite like this is stupid.
It looks like it was a troubling game. I only caught the last few minutes thanks to being on the road, but the box score is strange. 93% free throw for them and 88% for us. That seems like something you only see in the Ivy League.

This is pathetic. The haters had a solid week after the Tech loss, but now that LSU bounced back with the SMU win all they are left with is reminiscing about 2 weeks ago.
Tech could soon be ranked higher then every SEC team.

How do you not understand what he’s saying? He’s saying it wasn’t some lucky shooting night for them and unlucky night for us. He’s saying they’re just a lot better than us. Beating Duke reinforces that position.
A) Who is saying Trch isn’t better than LSU right now?
B) How does Tech being better make us an NIT team?
C) How is Tech beating Duke not in LSU's favor? Vs Tech losing to Duke?

quote:Yes. We played much better against SMU.
I was a SKC to watch the win over SMU. Definitely no comparison.
Would you have felt better about LSU if Tech lost to Duke?
quote:He is trying to say that Tech beating Duke makes LSU look bad. Yeah, I am guessing he had a few drinks tonight.
It’s hard to follow the point you are making.

So you are saying that the one team LSU lost to this year, after beating Duke (number 3 in the country), somehow proves that LSU is not a good team?
Maybe I should be happy I missed this one and could only watch the gamecast.
quote:He has been playing well of late. They built the lead against SMU in the first half with him in. I think he was +8 or +11 in that first half.
Thanks. Even with that number I suspect he benefitted from playing several minutes with Thomas tonight as well which I don’t really recall happening previously. It seems like nearly every time he subs in for Thomas around the under 12 timeout the other team goes on a significant run.

Thomas Massie is saying he knows that things are being redacted that shouldn't be. The only way to know that is to know the information himself.
1. Why hasn't he released this information himself if he is so sure that something is being hidden?
2. What's he trying to hide?
1) Some of it is public knowledge or has already been released unredacted.
2) in the arrest report they redacted Maxwell's name.
3) They redacted the name of the woman (Farmer) who reported that Epstein was into child born in 1996. She has been public about making the report.

ESPN Sucks sometimes. For some reason I can't get the game on on the TV, laptop, or phone.
LSU is up 26-11. Max is 2-2 from 3, plus a layup. Nwoko is 2-2, 3-3 at the line. 11:38 left in 1st.
ETA: Entire team is shooting 9-10 so far.

Careful, there was math involved:
0+48 = 48
0+48 = 48
I agree with all of that.

If we make the tourney this year and our underclassmen return we will probably see some better teams. Tech comes to New Orleans next year, no?
Plus the ACC challenge would have a better team at home. Possibly NC State? Pretty sure that game would sell out.
