We really don’t know for sure that the SEC will be down a bit next season, despite major losses, because these top-tier teams have re-stocked in the transfer portal.
Barring a new change in rules, we should see an overall drop in talent as the covid year players are mostly out of eligibility. Probably the main reason we are seeing a jump in NIL. Hopefully that settles down next year.
Interesting seeing his video that he is above 40% from 3 on the wing while below 40% on corner 3's.

Canada is our most important source of rare earth minerals. Any littls trade imbalance is just silly.

So it was in the NTSB briefing. Not sure if they mentioned it live, but put it in the printout. Again, no quotes and only the certification pilot saying something to the effect that they believed the ATC wanted them to turn left. Too late and no report on any following communication. Not a directive.

ETA: ty for the link.

Either way flying visual separation Evans made the right call
So you are saying Evans had the jet in sight? Because that is what he said and I am pretty sure he didn't.

Would have been the chopper black box.

I agree. But they aren't telling us any response or what was said before. Either way, the reporters didn't listen to it, they are reporting from a "source".

Lobach didn't listen.

She should not have been at the controls that night.
Maybe, maybe not. Would be awfully nice to hear the cockpit recording to confirm.

It was on the cockpit voice recorder.

It's what Maograth is missing.
The cockpit voice recorder of the Blackhawk) has never been released and the reporters of the NY Times article haven't listened to it.

Supposedly the families of those on the jet have heard the jet's CVR (the first week), but haven't gotten the Blackhawk's.
Human anatomy is unpredictable, especially when you throw in things like cancer and even dna glitches. Robots can be great when you already have a mapped out patient, but before that, no way.

Even Evans interpreted Pass Behind as to turn left.
The report said they likely didn't hear "pass behind", so how would he infer that. Evans told ARC that he had the jet in sight and requested visual separation, which means the helicopter was responsible.

In any event, Evans (supposedly) said that he believed that ATC wanted them to turn left. Clearly they had no idea. Even if a left turn was initiated with roughly 9 seconds before impact, they almost definitely hit the jet at that point.

As I said earlier, I don't know what the source is for Evans making that comment. Pretty sure it wasn't in the NTSB presser, and it definitely wasn't in the ATC recording.

Just 15 seconds before colliding with the commercial airplane, air traffic control told Lobach and Eaves to turn left, but she did not do so.
The ATC never said any such thing. We all have heard the ATC recording. The Daily Mail is trash.

That's probably in line with what LSU has left in NIL. A 5th year player who was 7/8th man at Memphis last season and has gotten interest from UCF, Fordham, Murray State, etc.
6'4" guard who has shot 40% from 3 the last 2 years and 93% at the line last year. Looks pretty solid.

He might even have two years of eligibility since he played a bit in the covid year, then 4 games over the following 2 years likely due to injury.

If we made the final 4 list with Harper we might just have enough for a final big get. I am sure we had to make a qualifying offer to make it to his final 4.

They need to release the transcripts and / or recording. Everything else is spin.
Jermaine O'Neal slipped out of the lottery despite being a green room invitee. A lot of people felt sorry for him because he was the last one there, and only 17 at the time.

Actually Rashard Lewis was worse. He was in the green room and wasn't picked until the 2nd round. Also out of hs.

I need to see video of these interviews.

How awful were they?
If he has rights to them they are probably worth more than his rookie contract at this point.

About Landon Jackson? Yeah. Surprised I didn't hear a slapping sound.

This interview is cringy.

College sports is really broken if freshmen are transferring now…
I don't know. In this case I would rather see a kid move on if he realizes that LSU is not a good fit for him instead of being stuck here. It's not like some team is poaching a star. This just seems like the kid isn't comfortable for some reason.
We have 3 spots left. We need a backup pg, not anything special. After that it would be nice to pick up a stud like Harper or Stojo. The last guy doesn't have to be anything special, maybe even a project.

So really just one more "piece".

Yes. We needed a colorful guy whose 1st move was to order a makeup room. That's what our military needed.
