It does seem very quick for a thorough vetting process. Her career was in social work helping the disabled find jobs.

Not sure about all the conspiracy stuff but isn’t it quite possible he got a blood clot from the air travel?
re: Nancy Mace- Eyes Graham's Senate Seat
Posted by mmcgrath on 7/12/26 at 2:00 pm to RobertFootball
Agree about Graham, but I wouldn't show myself drooling over the seat until at least Monday or Tuesday.
As for Nancy, she can already wreck havoc in the House. Maybe offer the temp spot for someone to drop out of the Governor's race. As it is, Nancy was already 5th in that statewide election, so I doubt she is a serious contender.
Isn't Trey Gowdy from SC?

Jumping in less then 12 hours after his death was announce will surely endear her with South Carolina voters.
He is lucky that idiot general didn't finish his march into Moscow a few years back.

A good opportunity to let anyone who is up to date on mortgage and has above average income to stay, assuming they have no serious criminal record.

However it is obvious that you baws have forgotten your civic classes. Bills go into law 10 days (excluding Sundays) after being passed by Congress unless the President vetos them.
re: U.S. Park Police using plainclothes cops to catch people screwing with the reflecting pool

quote:Very true. Although driving the motorcade across it with the quick refill will likely affect any warranty. Don't know why the refilled it all the way so quick. If they waited a week and only partially refilled it they could have addressed any issues. Or simply drained it a week ago when issues showed up.
If it were one of my projects, I'd need a damn good explanation why it immediately failed in some areas and not in others. Likely I'm demanding the whole thing be re-done. Otherwise I wouldn't feel confident the areas not currently affected won't experience the same failures within 5 years.

Hopefully when they drain and repair the pool they will use the sealant with anti-peel-it-off-with-your-fingers technology. Otherwise they it will just be easily pulled of again by weakling liberals.
You mean by properly applying it?
There were reports that certain sections were bubbling before they refilled it. Luckily it seems that only a few sections are affected and will need to be replaced / repaired.
But arresting people who just touch the water or floating piece of the liner is ridiculous.

Is trumps Iran deal better than Obama’s?
So far it looks like a tie, if we get there.

Look at the post immediately prior to yours.
In his Parkland rant he also riffed about taking guns without due process. No plan behind anything, just throwing out random thoughts. Like I said, I would love to reverse the shutting down of mental health facilities under Reagan, but Trump would have to put money behind it, and his admins are already responsible for more national debt than anyone else.

No. Sealant was bubbling before they filled it with water.
Good news. I am sure Israel is very happy with this news and won't do anything to sabotage the negotiations.

So the OP is just spreading a lie by repeating a clip from 8 years ago? Typical.
Too bad, because I would support such a move. It just would require a lot of federal tax dollars.

They hit a few with missiles early on. Message was received.
In the long run they want to collect tolls from each ship, so no need to completely destroy relations.

They were told a month ago to ignore Trump's social media posts anyway. Any valid threat would be sent through the negotiators.

They violated the agreement and closed the strait less than two days after signing it basically. Blow the rest of them to smitherines. They’re just stringing us along and buying time.
Just play nice and rebuild our reserves when oil goes down. Finish them off next year if you really want to using US intelligence, not Israel.
Tell Israel to get out of Lebanon or else we will pull their aid.

And you're right, if applied correctly, it would be very very difficult to remove. With all the shite the Left gave trump for color, no bid, and cost, for this HAD to be done right. Doesn't look that was the case.
There were reports of the lining bubbling in spots before they filled it with water. I guess they were hoping it would hold, but it didn't.
Now I guess that they hope the lining issues are limited to only a few sections that can be separated and repaired in the fall.
