Did he? Link the video clips of Vance coming out against the war and telling America that he opposed it. All we have are off the record reports that he advised against it. That isn't "standing against it".

Hindsight is a helluva drug. Maybe Vance et al should have thought about all of this 12 months ago.

He could also be the 2030 Ohio Governor winner

This is a lot better than Trumps stupid tweets
Trump should resign and let JD right the ship. I think that could save 2028

He would be a great President.
The hell he would.
I give him props for having the balls to publicly break with the POTUS like this, but his stance against the war was purely motivated by political expediency. It was also reported at the time that this was his reluctance towards the endeavor. That it would "look bad."
Being a leader and being worried about "optics" is no real way to lead anything unless your goal is the furtherance of the status quo.
Good for Vance. But he has no business leading this country.

Man honestly that is a great tweet. He has a lot of integrity to tweet that. Good for him.
I agree.
I'm also pissed about the Save Act, and lack of dem arrests. I still could never vote for the party of baby killing, trannies and lawlessness.

If you’re against politicians being concerned with optics, I have bad news for you.

So you wanted Vance to come out staunchly against Trump in public in a midterm year?
What would you have had him do? Go look through the GOPe/Neocon/NRO/WSJ messaging of the last six months. He has taken a brutal beating for the internal opposition. Should he not have stood by his own administration (of which he's not the penultimate leader) after doing what he could to advise against the war?

How, exactly? Trump is in a political position to destroy no one anymore.

Someone has to be a viable candidate against AOC.

His name is Marco Rubio. And I'm not even saying I support Rubio necessarily. Just that he will make for a much better candidate than Vance.
