Stamos is a dumbass.

Maybe not. Maybe he saw what was coming down the road and was glad she walked. There isn't enough beauty in the world worth living with someone that you have to walk on eggshells around because they've gone insane over leftist politics. To hell with that.

It won't surprise me if Mamdani is someday taken out by a fellow Muslim. How many Muslims can you think of who openly support LGBTQI+?

This is allowed under the rules of Taqiya: align with and dwell amongst the un-Islamic to take down a bigger enemy of Islam , until your numbers are such that you're the strongest faction and can conquer all your enemies by force. Muslims recognize the plan. None will touch him.

So why am I not to think China wouldn’t make light work Taiwan

China doesn't have the naval assets necessary for a real invasion. Particularly amphibious landing craft. They could hurt Taiwan with long range airpower, but not defeat them with it. Over the water invasion requires over the water lines of communication. Hitler failed to understand this and its why Germany lost the Battle of Britain and Operation Sea Lion was canceled before the Germans could land a single man.

When I looked the girlfriend up, I was even less surprised than seeing His picture.

Once again, a stereotype is reinforced by real events. It would serve Canada right if their judges turned him loose and he went on the rampage again.
Ohioans will suffer a Femicommie for four years rather than elect a guy out of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

Or, you could not wait until you're nearly infertile to have kids.

How the frick is Mark Wahlberg at 3

He works his arse off and picks movies that audiences want to see.

Patriot Games, it doesn't even try to follow the book.

The Sum of all Fears was worse. They turned Ryan into a kid, little better than a CIA intern, and then just completely changed the cast of villains from Arab terrorists to White neo-nazis. As someone else put it, this is what happens when Hollywood writers get their hands on book adaptations from authors that they hate.
I hope the good people in NYC get out and take their money and talent elsewhere. Then we should wall up NYC and turn it into John Carpenter’s prison camp.

Mamdani’s limo is waiting…

Actual text from a dissenting 9th circuit judge concerning the Olympic Spa case in Washington (cliff notes… women’s only spa wants to keep biological men out). A legal brief tailor-made for the OT:

quote:

This is a case about swinging dicks. The Christian owners of Olympus Spa—a traditional Korean, women-only, nude spa—understandably don't want them in their spa. Their female employees and female clients don't want them in their spa either. But Washington State insists on them. And now so does the Ninth Circuit. You may think that swinging dicks shouldn't appear in a judicial opinion. You're not wrong. But as much as you might understandably be shocked and displeased to merely encounter that phrase in this opinion, I hope we all can agree that it is far more jarring for the unsuspecting and exposed women at Olympus Spa— some as young as thirteen—to be visually assaulted by the real thing. Sometimes, it feels like the supposed adults in the room have collectively lost their minds. Woke regulators and complicit judges seem entirely willing, even eager, to ignore the consequences that their Frankenstein social experiments impose on real women and young girls.

As the link shows, the rest of the justices got the vapors that he has said “swinging dicks” in his dissent and seem entirely unconcerned about the swinging dicks in the women’s spa.

They showed the teaser trailer before a movie and I was so pumped. Thinking about how great it would be in the new "Grande" type theaters. And then it wasn't.

Ill never understand why the Toho people signed off on that design. Interesting, but not Godzilla.

Id have to say my fondest memory of the movies on TV was Kk vs G, and I remember it being a big deal when ABC made it the movie of the week in 77 or 78.

The book was the same way.

Never saw the series, but I read the book, and was surprised that someone would make a whole series out of it.

TMITHC was the very first book I ever read in electronic format, BTW. Downloaded it as a text file to my Palm Pilot way back in the bronze age.
Id say the increase in cruises has everything to do with cruise lines going the budget route, as airlines did. When I was a kid, cruises were something only rich people and retirees with their homes paid off did. Now its cheap enough that you have people on SNAP going on cruises.

Don't know how any sort of revival, reboot, etc works without Whedon. He seemed to be the driving creative force behind the show.

Has anyone heard even a peep from Whedon about all this?

That’s a million bucks down the hole. I wish it could make a difference, but… it’s Oregon. Unless the Lord Himself takes His hand and scoops Portland into the sea, a Republican has no chance of winning there.

This comes as zero shock to people that saw what happened at colleges throughout the 60’s.

get that the character is older in King Conan but surely not 78 years old.

Conan the King should have been done 20 years ago.

Saw a cellphone clip last year of Arnold walking in NYC surrounded by bodyguards. He looked old, and despite his bulk, he shuffled like an old man. Definitely didn’t look like he was up to doing action movies anymore.
