I’ve been scratching my head on this and trying to figure out wtf is the purpose for a qr code sticker to put on you vehicle if all it contains is the vin. Like what’s the purpose.
Only logical thought is instead of sending you that little reflective sticker to put on your plate with the expiration date and your Lisc plate number on it, this must be to replace that and all a cop has to do is scan the QR code and has your info as well as of registration is valid. All I can think of but who knows

Kenner will keep them if Glaser wins, repeal them if Bennetti wins. Vote Bennetti.

Now they will set up cameras to scan the qr code and automatically fine you if you are out of compliance a day
Most people are going to find this out the hard way.

So the real question is what company is going to be administering this? And what politician is involved.

Does it really matter? We will all be under surveillance and control soon enough with the data centers. All of the sudden they are going up everywhere. Yeah, it sucks.

Dam. Just got one a few months ago. The two year version too. I wonder if they’ll consider since I have equity in my current sticker they won’t charge me for the QR code, or at least pro-rate the time I have left and reimburse me with interest!

Tell me again why I have to pay to tell the government that I still have my vehicle. Renewing registrations is exactly the same kind of bullshite as inspection stickers. I paid taxes and registered my vehicle when I bought it. I don’t need to pay to tell you I still have it. I’ll turn in my plates when I don’t have it any more.

More LA shenanigans. They should just call it a tax so at least they are looking me in the eyes when they are fricking me.

Cover it with a piece of black or gray tape.

I haven’t had an inspection sticker in probably 15ish something years.
Never once gotten a ticket for it.
Have had blacked out windows too and no ticket for that either.
I never understood why everyone goes and gets one

They didn't get rid of them, though. They replaced them with those hideous QR code things.
It's funny... just this week I had the random thought that QR codes were really ugly and kind of a sign of Idiocracy. And here we are, courtesy of the Louisiana Association for Retar... I mean Legislature.

It looks like in EBR you still have to get an emissions test, so i don't really see how this creates much of a convenience. just slightly cheaper i guess.

They are going to find ways to make even more off of us. For the sake of God, it is Louisiana, the most corrupt state in the nation.
