Yup....... Them goodyears are probably close to 2k if not more and that bed cover is another $1000-1500.

I would say the watch or a gun (if he’s into that) or a really nice pair of skin boots. I still have mine that my dad gave me when I graduated college.
The watch or the gun could turn into an heirloom so it could be passed down. My long term plan it to buy my boys nice watches once they graduate...

My buddy has the Bannex and we use the LP’s for commercial fishing and Swordfishing.
He has custom rods from a place out of Texas and I have custom rods from Swampland tackle ...

LP’s all the way! Never have had an issue and they always take the abuse. I bought used ones from someone getting out of offshore fishing bc they were getting relocated for work.
Reel is half the cost don’t forget about the rods too! ...
