The thing is, this wasn't just CJJ who misevaluated that talent. Everyone did. Most, if not all, of the major recruiting outlets had him ranked top 3 in their transfer rankings.

Framing is alot easier and more effective when pitchers are throwing competitive pitches around the zone. Cant frame when you are diving on live grenades.
Elite is not the right term. Its consistent and dependable. Even at this point in the season he has neither.
