would never have the balls to leave my wife behind unless it was an extremely important flight (wedding, funeral, etc)
This is why so many American women are entitled and as incompetent as a child due to not being held accountable. I would of left her at the airport.

My ex wife and I were married for 17 years. Never in those 17 years did we take a trip that involved an airplane. Because something exactly like this would have happened.

Coffee people as a personality are so weird, and I like coffee okay enough.

Had a work retreat a couple of months ago, and the next morning we had a drive from Fredericksburg back to the Austin airport. We all had different flight times, with one person's being within the hour.

A couple of folks had us stop at Starbucks and then another at McDonalds for coffee, and we ended up sitting at Starbucks for nearly half an hour due to how busy they were.

Does coffee not make women have to take a shite?

Seriously, I'm not about to get stuck in a car on a drive in the morning while sipping a coffee. OR have to take a shite on an airplane if I can prevent it.

Time management skills are very rare in the female Homo sapien.

This is true, and it makes me thankful for my wife of nearly 19 years, whom actually knows how to budget her time.

I'm lucky.

Any woman that purposefully has to have Starbucks instead of a faster option that makes more sense time wise, frankly deserves to be left behind.

The article never asks if she deserved to be left, the article questions why the man didn't stay. That's bullshite. He was going home to see his family. The only question is why was she being such a cee you next tuesday about her coffee when she knew damn well time was crunched.

Hell, she could have got coffee on the plane.

The sad thing is the guy will likely get an earful from the dumb bitch, but he won't deserve a single syllable. She made her choice. It was a bad one.

According to his Reddit post, the wife hasn't spoken to him for 10 days (from the time he made that post, so it might be even longer now).

I would've left her bitch arse too, and I would've been as pissed off as I have ever been in my entire life. It would be smart on her part to just go back home and start packing her things.

You must not be married. My wife would never do this in an airport. She wants to get to the gate ASAP, then if there's time, she can get a drink or whatever, but I can think of multiple times that my wife has had poor time management skills. I've left her behind in the car before. I turned around to get her, but for a second, my point was made.

A lesson for all young men from a sage advisor.

If the event calls for you to be there at 7:00pm, tell your wife it is at 6:30. Then you have a chance of being on-time for the event, whatever it may be.

"Waitin On A Woman" by Brad Paisley covers this.

It is the only way she will learn. Accountability is probably not her strong suit

more like being held accountable and forced to face the consequences of her actions is something she was never forced to do before.

My father did something similar with my German stepmother. Very un-German like when he went to see my grandmother, she'd never be ready to leave on time and my grandmother would worry as a result. This was before cell phones.

One day, he said he was leaving a 2:00 sharp. She wasn't ready and he left. The relationship survived and she learned her lesson.
