I am 100% in his corner. She sounds stupid and selfish. He really needs to think about why he is with her.

[quote]Nah. You have to be able to talk sense into your wife, so she doesn’t insist on doing something so stupid.[/quote

Nah. You have to let them do something stupid for them to hopefully learn.

Ok, first off, it's obviously moronic to even go to the Starbucks with that little time left. It's even more asinine that you get to the Starbucks, see the ridiculously long line, AND DECIDE TO WAIT ANYWAYS KNOWING IT WILL TAKE YOU LONGER THAN 15 MINUTES.

When his wife called him, saying she was back at the gate and asking where he was..."

Just take her out and shoot her, if for nothing else, the fact that she didn't know where everyone in the boarding area of an airport went when you knew boarding was occurring while you were gone.

I'm irrationally angry at this post

Women have smaller brains. That's just an irrefutable scientific fact.

Posting these stories is like commenting that your dog licked his butt instead of doing algebra. Smaller brain gonna smaller brain.

If I were that husband I'd take the cost of the wasted ticket out of her arse.

Tough shite.

The sad thing is the guy will likely get an earful from the dumb bitch, but he won't deserve a single syllable. She made her choice. It was a bad one.

At least he got a few hours of peace and quiet on the flight without her.

Oh, and Starbucks can suck it. Overpriced crap.

I love my wife but she has done this on a few occasions. She’s never missed a flight.
But she doesn’t mind cutting it close. I just tell her she’s on her own and I go about my business.

This particular story is probably not real, but I bet my life real situations happen like this every day.

ETA: I was way too late, episode mentioned on page one.

I saw this on Reddit. On a previous trip, the wife's "We'll get there eventually" attitude caused the couple to miss their flight. Their tickets were evidently non-refundable, as the husband wrote about being forced to rebook their flight later in the day at considerable expense. So it's not like this (b)itch didn't know what could happen.

Husband went on to say that his wife did catch a later flight, and didn't seem upset during a weekend with their daughter. However, once back home, the wife had not spoken to her husband for a week.

If true, I hope he enjoyed the silence.
