That's about as uncomplicated as it gets. Just plain stupid.

At first glance I figured this was a woman genuinely trying to avoid a trip to see annoying family members. However, given where they live (the Pacific Northwest) and given how airheaded and stubborn women already are, it would not surprise me in the least if this woman had every intention of making the flight with her husband and daughter. Time management skills are very rare in the female Homo sapien.

Yep, and business traveler Jody is about to swoop in at the airport bar

Journalist are now just writing short fiction stories and passing it off as news.

Sounds like two capable adults made two different decisions.

But she wasn’t capable of getting on the plane on time, which was the whole reason they were at the airport.

I would never have the balls to leave my wife behind unless it was an extremely important flight (wedding, funeral, etc)

Now? Been that way for a while. Most articles about politics read more like fan-fiction.

This is what I read. If she wanted to be on that flight she would'VE been on that flight.

I would move heaven and earth to try to get her on that plane, but once they are telling me that if I don’t step through right this second, they are closing the door? Not on a romantic trip of any kind, but to go see my family?

I’m boarding that plane. I may end up divorced, but I might end up in handcuffs if I stuck around

I almost missed a flight one time because my wife did this. I was livid.

Nah. You have to be able to talk sense into your wife, so she doesn’t insist on doing something so stupid.

I’ve left my wife at home and made her drive herself because she was late before so I’d definitely get on a flight

What a dumb bitch. She knows what time boarding closes. She knows her distance from the gate and how long it takes to get to the gate. The bitch deserved what she got. Hopefully her daughter knows that her dad is the person to always side with.
