Spiking it with one second left is the reason I’ve never stepped foot in Oxford ever again.
Is it any different for us? People here think if you step foot in SF, you’ll be shite on by a homeless person in 10 minutes.

And London is a shithole that is so overrun will woke liberals that you can’t enjoy yourself. And don’t get me started about all the Muslims raping and stabbing people in the streets of Paris…

WWII lasted over 6 years. If you consider 6 years as an “event”, than absolutely.
Only thing ESPN does well is cover college sports. And school isn’t in session.

No idea. I dont have kids, never took the bus, and don’t live where it’s cold.

That’s just what the people who don’t want this to happen says.

I’d rather it get darker quicker in the evenings. Bc I drink, live in the south, and like my porch. It’s still hot as frick a 8:30pm. And by 9:30pm, it feels much better.

Think of the children….i don’t have kids so I really don’t care, but I can image it makes a difference waiting at a bus stop for an 8 years on a cold morning

I enjoy the structure of the running clock and a shorter game.
I enjoy shootouts.
I enjoy when they play a man down because someone did something stupid.
I enjoy when they penalize flopping.
I enjoy the anticipation on a corner kick or moving into the box.
I enjoy the passion of the fans and players.
I enjoy watching the skill as I can hit a baseball, catch a football, etc. but running full speed controlling a ball with my feet is lost on me.
I enjoy only paying attention once every four years.
I enjoy routing for a team but not really caring if they lose.
I enjoy watching a 5’7” 170lbs man being able to be the world’s greatest.

We had multiple people and a laptop to connect. So pocket WiFi was better for us. eSIM works too in most situations. Wife phone wasn’t paid off and the unlocking process for eSIM was frustrating which also contributed to our decision.

Room upgrades are laughable at this point. I'm Lifetime Titanium with marriott and rarely if ever are their upgrades available.

I get upgraded quite frequently. And I thought Platinum is the highest lifetime status you can get. What do you need to achieve Lifetime Titanium?

More often than not, I get upgraded on stays of 2 nights or less. Which I stay often for work or short weekend trips. When I start to reserve 5 nights on points, it a much less hit rate. Unless I request suite nights.
