Was offered a full time role upon graduation while I was interning, so I was able to step right into my real job

Had three full time offers before graduation. Picked the highest paying. Started 6 weeks after graduation so I had a nice little summer before life sucked.

If you don’t have a job waiting on you before you graduate, then I’d say you’re f’ed.

2000, electrical engineer, 11 offers prior to graduation.

Real Job?! I graduated LSU in 08 and have a job, but is it real? That is still up for debate.

About a month.

I was offered a job in Fort Worth at a healthcare system that I was interning at during my senior year, but didn’t want to move at the time. I’m glad I didn’t take it because I pivoted careers about a year later and it’s been the best decision I’ve made for my career.

Graduated with the job lined up. Went to Omaha for the CWS (we lost) and started when I got back.

I probably should have used my time this wisely. Instead I tended pool bar at a country club and got hammered every single day.

Shout out my fellow degens at Winston's pub in Old Metry summer of 2008.

got an offer during my senior year. Graduated and two weeks later I was a staff auditor for Peat Marwick. It's not as glamourous as they tell you it will be.

Almost 2 years post-graduation.

I stuck around as a bartender and was enjoying my 20s a little too much. Finally woke up one morning and decided to grow up. I started throwing around applications and got hired pretty quickly in my field.

And I've been miserable ever since. But miserable with money and a 401k.

Got the job offer and accepted in March before I graduated in May.

I went to work in another state the Monday after my Saturday graduation.
