I give them a slight edge over 2025 LSU.
1.) 2024 Tennessee
2.) 2025 LSU
3.) 2023 LSU

re: Mavs went to nba finals then gave away their superstar to the lakers

I strongly dislike Dallas in any sport. My Pelicans/Hornets have constantly gotten beat up by the Mavericks for as long as we’ve been in Nola (for the most part).
But damn… I really felt my heart drop for Mavs fans when I first saw that trade. I couldn’t fathom how upset I would have been if we traded CP3 in 2009 after losing in WCSF for example.

He would be batting .320 and have the lowest BA in the starting lineup?
re: Baltimore HS Senior with 0.13 GPA, in top half of his class, sent back to 9th grade

quote:The mom is definitely dumb, but I don’t understand the school continuing to move the kid up to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th level english/science/etc when he failed his freshmen level courses so bad. If a kid gets a 30F in Algebra 1, in what world is he magically going to make a passing grade in Algebra 2?
If you watch the video the mother complains that her son is being sent back to 9th grade and is facing 3 more years in school. 9, 10, 11, 12. The mom should probably be sent back to 9th grade with her son. She failed her son. The father... Did not see a father in the video. The son failed himself, by missing hundreds of days. The teachers failed. The councilor failed. The principal failed The school board failed. The city of Baltimore failed. The teacher's union failed. Democrat run city failed. Democrat run state failed.
This is the type of thing that politicians/leaders have thrown to the side in the last couple of decades and it’s a shame to see. I’m sure that kid was screwing around without great parental guidance (as we can tell), but damn someone needs to be guiding him if his mom and school aren’t. He was/is a child. Completely set up for failure.

I think our so called projected power is underrated
Curriel/Milam/Carraway aren't power hitters, but any of these guys can get you 10+ this year for sure.

Should be illegal. I have yet to meet anyone that’s ever lived in an apt complex or just in a neighborhood that’s said “Thank goodness for these speed bumps”…
They serve the purpose of slowing cars down in areas with lots of people, generally kids. Very simple logic
re: Black girl caught a Tuck’s Barbie with beads around its neck. Mother is outraged.

The mom could have removed the bead, handed the doll to her daughter, and moved on with her day. She instead confused the shite out of her daughter about a complete nothing burger.

Flaujae played her best game of the season. A genuine fan who understands basketball wont blame this loss on her for missing 2 free throws.

Children’s food items that you still buy/eat
Posted by Ryan3232 on 2/14/26 at 2:35 pm
i’m not really talking about restaurant kid menu items, but more-so food items you would buy at the grocery store for your child, but you buy them for yourself to eat.
I seem to buy one of these at the store every other month. And I eat it as soon as I get home. A guilty pleasure of mine.

re: Hogs for a Cause judging information
Posted by Ryan3232 on 2/12/26 at 9:17 pm to LSUblondie
I judged at HFAC one year. If you’re a contestant, just don’t be that jackass that’s late bringing your food over to the tent.
It really is a crapshoot with the scoring/judging. It’s one of those figure it out subjective scoring charts for everyone with like 7 different qualities about the item. Think of a doctor’s office where they say tell me how bad it hurts on a scale of 1 to 10.
And if you’re a judge, you don’t get to try everything brought over. It’s been several years, but if i remember correctly, I think they have like 4 areas they designate under the tent so you only get to try 1/4th of everything brought over. (Told to me by one of the organizers). There’s 6 things you sample in each round for each category. They also place you randomly at tables each round so you get to mingle with new groups of people. Beers are included. It was a cool experience.
