Someone moving in oder to better provide for their family is far more noble than staying put for the myriad of reasons people never leave their hometown.

Is money everything to you? Would you just live wherever pays the most, just so that you can “provide” better for your family.

Money isn’t my only priority, proximity to loved ones matters more to me and the values that I want to instill in my family.

I’m not saying that you should strive to be a brokedick, but you should be able to provide for your family while also not sacrificing other things that should take a priority over how many pennies you can rub together.

Evan Noel was recruited to Florida by Joe Houston, who is now with LSU. Noel was the #1 kicker in the 2024 class.

That’s not his only LA connection.
I feel bad for people that have to move to Houston to get good jobs.

There’s no way I would let a job dictate where I live.

The board's whipping boy Moscona said Weis is on the hook for $7.5M if he leaves LSU

If he leaves LSU before April. I don’t know what it is after that.

It’s called playing trash schedules

Sure their regular season schedule was trash but they beat Ohio State and Bama back to back. And they beat Oregon in the regular season. Those are 3 quality wins.

moneyg

What I meant is that it’s not only about the money. He obviously wants to get paid.
IMO, if he’s taking trips to both that means it’s not about the money and if it’s not about the money then it greatly favors LSU.

We need to sign over 30 in the portal, crazy times.

Pretty sure that was always the plan when we only signed 14 high schoolers.

Frank can may be tamper with Lacy

Tamper with their own players?

Because it’s allowed. You are operating on misinformation that you got from someone on this board. I encourage you to read the rules yourself before continuing to spread your misinformation.

The joke

Your head
Anyone want to ask him how Coleman and Sorsby are visiting before Monday?

Well - most will one day

You do realize that these kids can go back to school and get whatever degree they want if they aren’t drafted into the nfl right? They aren’t banned from attending college and earning a degree like a “normal” person.

The horror. If asked - “Some men like men.” “Some women like women.” Explanation over. Kids move on. No trauma. If you feel the need to tell them you think it’s evil and depraved, by all means go ahead.

You shouldn’t have to explain that to a 4 year old. It’s deviant behavior that shouldn’t be shown on a television broadcast.

The guy carries himself on the sideline much more like Saban than Smart does. I was getting jealous watching the game.

I thought it was hilarious the way that he looked at the field when Deboer was doing his dumbass shite on that 4th down call in the first half.

His look just said, "WTF are you doing, just line up and run a play so that I can stop you"

That had to be embarrassing for an Alabama fan.

So, who the heck is going to coach the offensive side of the ball and call the plays?
They hired the OC from ECU a while back, John David Baker.

They are also keeping Joe Judge, which is who I would expect to call plays if the LSU coaches leave.

Oh, I thought Moscona said that they couldn't visit until Monday

6 12 team conferences would be perfect

You play 11 games against only your conference and you have to win the damn conference to advance

Now you have the best of everything. A playoff at the end of the year and a season where every damn game matters, traditions will become massive because you fight against the same 11 teams every year, and conf championship banners are huge deals

Basically like euro soccer. Those people care as much about winning their damn league as much as being the champions league winner

I like the idea, the only issue I see is that there would be arguments over who gets the byes.

But, I've always thought that a scenario where you play every team in your conference, and no out of conference games, where conference champions would be the only teams to move on would be the best system.

It doesn’t affect the results, but I guess you get better 1st round games. Who cares

Who cares? Oh, I don't know, maybe people who watch college football for entertainment?

What kinda stupid question is that?

Why else do you watch college football, if it isn't for entertainment?

is not normal. Will be a total rebuild for Kiffin. I’m sure he will do well in the portal, but we need to manage expectations for next year.

Ole Miss had 4 returning starters this past season and won 12 games.

If anyone can re-build in a season it’s Kiffin.

This isn’t 2020, LSU will sign 20+ players in the portal.
