I think Bama wins by 10. Indiana will not be able to handle the pressure, things will start to crack.

Bama can't run the ball.

re: Travel route question…

It depends. If the interstate route is going through any major cities, I will attempt to avoid it.

For example, I almost always take HWY 90 to New Orleans from Lafayette, rather than taking I-10 through Baton Rouge.

Agree to disagree
I can’t believe people use the mobile versions of websites.

Another vote for an au poivre. It's my go-to for leaner cuts like a NY Strip.

Yep, I cook steak once a week, and if I'm cooking a strip I will usually make an au poivre. If I'm cooking a ribeye, I usually skip on any sauces.

Nursing?

Healthcare IS, a lot of nurses leave bedside and get into IS.
I usually make an au poivre, or a variation of that.

Peppercorns
Garlic
Shallot
Whiskey or Cognac
Beef stock
Heavy cream

In every office I have ever worked in, if you hire a minority to run a department, within two years (at most), that department is overwhelmingly staffed by that minority. You only see diversity if it is a Caucasian manager.

Obviously anecdotal, but this was not my experience at my last job.

We had a black male director, and only one black manager. The other 9 managers were white, 3 male and 6 female (which makes sense because it's a female dominant field).

Also a bit nervous about 133 F but thats what America's Test Kitchen says to do.

With sous vide, you probably won't get much if any carryover cooking.

Im going to put a wired thermometer in the bag with it just to make sure.

Well, if your sous vide machine is set to 133 the meat definitely won't go above that.
N7 for dinner, adjacent to the Marigny.

Bacchanal for wine and cheese, also in Bywater.

Pizza Delicious for a casual lunch.

The one in Lafayette is nearly always perfect.

I've been to the one in Lafayette twice, never again

The food was fine, but nothing to write home about. The clientele left a lot to be desired.

I wouldn't have let my kids hang around my child self.....

It's not that I wouldn't let my kid hang around my child self, but we definitely would never intersect. My kid doesn't hang around in the same crowds that I did as a child.

If your child self was friends with your kids would you think they were rich?

Yes, but I didn't have very high standards as a child

Would you like them?

Probably? My kid is super sweet.

For higher end, Citizen at Alys Beach.

Tory Mcphail is the chef there, or at least he was at one point.
Cafe Thirty-A is good.

Last time I went to Georges the line wasn't too bad, but it was a weekday.
The 12 team format already has a play-in.

It basically functions as an 8 team tournament, but seeds 5-8 are determined by a play-in.

re: Recruiting coordinator

From what it sounds like Glasscock and Kiffin basically run the recruiting board as far as priorities and NIL funds go. I don’t know if they’ll have someone on staff with the title of recruiting coordinator.
