re: Spinoff: those of you raised Catholic with kids - Epic Cajun
It is fair and just. You know the requirements and it is up to you. Example, everyone has a winning powerball ticket for 1 billion dollars. You just need to bring it to a set location and cash it. Are you telling me that you can be the most kind giving person in the world and you won’t get th...
has considered going to Episcopal services.
Isn't this kinda like "common sense catholics"? I feel like that's what it is after looking into the religion a while back. This is coming from someone who is catholic and attends mass regularly ...
Serious question. Raised Catholic and have always wondered this... Any ideas?
A lot of priests are gays that can't come out because their families are Catholic and would ostracize them if they did. ETA: and it's not like they can just go to a bar and pick up a random dude to bon...

re: Jimmy Butler requests trade, willing to sign extension with 1 to 3 teams. - Epic Cajun
How does a source gather that kind of info without the number, just 1-3? Seems odd.
Received information that he requested a trade from multiple sources. The sources had a varying number of teams that he would be willing to sign an extension with. For example, one could have said he...

re: Where did you baws get your lady's engagement ring and how much did you pay? - Epic Cajun
I went to a guy who deals directly with a diamond whole seller. His prices and quality were comparable to Blue Nile (also GIA certified), so I just went with him because I could deal in person and he gave a cash discount. I think I spent around 2.5 months salary at the time....
Booker had knight/Bledsoe, both 20 ppg a game scorers. Plus guys like Morris, Warren, and Telly his rookie year.
Are you genuinely comparing Knight and Bledsoe to Lowry, and using PPG as the basis of your argument?...

re: Le'Veon Bell's Monday: dartying on a yacht, jet skiing & going to his EP release party - Epic Cajun
I’m not throwing away 9 million dollars in that scenario. The ROI is much greater (proportionally) in life insurance versus what Bell is doing. If Bell wasn’t throwing away such a large chunk of guaranteed money, I would understand his position. But I don’t think that he has a huge guaranteed c...

re: Le'Veon Bell's Monday: dartying on a yacht, jet skiing & going to his EP release party - Epic Cajun
If he’s willing to bet that he would get injured (which he has to believe if he’s throwing away 9 million dollars), why would another team want to pay him a large guaranteed contract? It seems like he doesn’t even believe he’ll stay healthy. I can’t imagine that really inspires confidence in the e...
DD has put up numbers while contributing to winning. Booker has put up numbers on lottery teams.
DeRozan didn't put up numbers on a "winning" team until his 5th season, when Lowry showed up. Booker has no "sidekick"....
not really. It's a gamble, for sure. But it's not counterintuitive.
So, what's he going to do? Come back at week 10, then finally sign his franchise tender? Whatever way you look at it, he's losing 9 million dollars of guaranteed money. I really don't think he's going to have teams...

re: ESPN annual Top 100 NBA players has gone Simple Jack - Epic Cajun
I'm not sure what's so baffling about that? Both are awful on defense, DeMarr is a much more limited offensive player. ETA: this is also projecting how good they will be this coming season, Booker is younger and expected to grow his game much more than DeMarr....
