Thank you for supplementing my point. Politics worked better when low IQ people like this ignored things over their head rather than form confident opinions on everything.
It has always been toxic. The internet and the push for "every voice to be heard" has turned politics stupid to an unprecedented level, though.

It's probably hard if both people are into their faith. If one is casual it should be fine and may end up leading that one to convert.
It also depends on the particular flavor of Protestant. Some of them are pretty harshly critical of Catholics.

I love how they are doing it. All requested funds go out after proof of need is provided. Only the legit people are sending in proof. They just fixed the glitch.

They are right. It's harder to make an opposition party to listen to an installed leader rather than pressuring the natural replacement to play ball.
