re: Nobel Prize winner and NY Times Columnist Paul Krugman says ...

If I said we needed to purge Paul Krugman from our society, I suspect that would be interpreted as a threat against his life. What’s he saying about millions of people on the right side of the political spectrum?

I’m talking about their votes in Congress. Throwing a TDS fit and voting against anything pro-administration is an example.

All of them are public servants. Using the office to vote for personal preferences, or to vote against a political opponent, illustrates that they shouldn’t be in office.

How does a littering offense result in suspension of a driver’s license?

If she told the truth, she’d be admitting that she’s a monster.

The training models used by AI developers skew the responses from them. So ChatGPT provides leftist bias and Grok doesn’t.
The people who provide the AI decide what the AI likes.

Based on experience, “Allahu Akbar” translates to “Time to kill whitey”.

I don’t like his tantrums during SOTU and congressional sessions, but I do like that he uses a pimp cane.

I worked remotely or traveled for about 15 of the last 25 years of my career. Regional pay scale stopped being an issue very quickly, so I was making the same money as a person in the NE or the west coast.

Does this mean the school that coach is leaving is not allowed to let him finish the season no matter how publicly and ardently he makes it known that he wants to finish the season?
I think it means that if the Ole Miss playoff situation happened again, Ole Miss would be forced to allow Kiffin to coach through the playoffs.
re: LSU did 601 million in research this year

The Alumni Association wants $430 from me for the new directory, a duffel, a sweatshirt, and a t-shirt.
If everybody is buying that package, I know where the $601 mil originated.

Seems like a bad idea given the topography
For more than one reason.
The land that NOLA sits on is river silt that built up over a long time.
When I lived in Harahan, I was a little more than a block from the river, and I knew when a large vehicle drove down my street because the house bounced a little.
Imagine traffic passing directly under structures built on the same type of ground, and the regular movement of the tunnel tube in that ground. Over time, what’s that going to do to the tunnel, and the structures?

This is why Social Security can never go away, under current circumstances, and can’t be significantly reduced.
The government created a dependency and got the vast majority hooked on it.
