Talked to a guy at Turner last week who leaves his truck in a parking area instead of driving it home because he swears there are people out there who call them in as a prank . He feels like it’s a magnet for weirdos. I had literally never heard of this and didn’t really believe it until he started telling me stories. I didn’t know that was a thing.

There is a lot of that. You get some legitimate complaints that have to be addressed, but the majority are weirdos and pathetic people.

My company requires the calls to be logged and documented. You'll see shite like this:

"Hey, I wanted to let you know, someone in one of your work trucks is sitting in McDonald's eating." Call received at 12:18 pm on a workday

"Some yellow-haired bitch in one of your cars is flying down the interstate going 100 mph." Pull the fleet tracking software for the vehicle, and it shows the top speed was 72 mph.

their fans were really obnoxious for not having won anything in football ever

I like the Lexington trip, but their fans don't get enough credit for how bad they suck.
I can promise you if they were headed to the playoffs and UM thought he was worth a shite, they aren't firing him for screwing a staff member.
They sound be wrapping up the semis with the New Years bowls.

Start the season a week earlier
Drop the conference champ games
I know they were in a pinch when Baker pulled his name, but how do you justify giving that job to someone who went 8-19 (14-30 overall) in the Sun Belt?

They'll be saying some stupid shite like revenge tour

Indiana has certainly used the portal to their advantage, but it’s not like they’re loaded with NFL talent. They had two guys drafted from last year‘s team—a fourth and a seventh rounder.

Even this year's team, outside of Mendoza, the quarterback, the rest of their draft-eligible players have late-round grades at best.

I think their head coach and his staff deserve a ton of credit.

Is it possible the person is telling you to add 50%, has had your gumbo and they are trying to subtly tell you to use less roux because they like it thinner?

Haha no

Got a wild hair and did a “test” gumbo last night. Doubled eveyything, including the roux. Turned out perfect. Myth busted?

This person is dumb. Roux thickening power doesn't increase with higher volumes of liquid / stock.

It didn't make sense to me either
5 SEC road games is bullshite

Need to see what he can do at QB and which direction the defense goes. I think if they get an outstanding QB in the portal, the team could be very competitive. If they are just average there, and the defense isn't clicking, LSU and Lane are going to take a lot of shite from the cfb world.
I have a chicken and sausage gumbo recipe I really like. The wife suggested I make it for an upcoming Christmas gathering, but I would need to double the amount at least to be able to serve everyone.

Initially, I assumed I would double all ingredients; however, someone told me to only increase the roux amounts (flour and oil) by 50%. I don't know if the person knows a lick about cooking, but they certainly have me questioning things.

Any feedback on doubling a recipe and how much roux ingredients you use?

LSU won’t honor the last home game in New Orleans. Tulane doesn’t need to play yall in Baton Rouge. We can find other teams willing to play home and home with.

Dude, LSU isn't playing in a 30k seat stadium.

Could play in the dome but no one would give a shite after the first couple of games. Just like the last time we tried to do this.
Reminder: This BC team lost to Florida Atlantic, Central Connecticut State, Davidson, and Tulane.
It's not going in our yard, Russ... It's going in our living room

Coleman Hutzler at state. He’s awesome and he’ll come cheap.

Is this an inside joke?

State's defenses have been LSU 2023 bad in the two years Hutzler has been there.

Looking forward to Lane calling out the fans for leaving early
9-3

- schedule is kind of a pain in the arse
- you're having to replace so many pieces since LSU went all in this year.

If they somehow hit a HR in the portal at QB and one or two of the perceived strong teams end up sucking, I could see that 9-3 being better.
Why?

Because Lane is losing maybe one game with this roster. That's why.

this is football. You want to be feared, not liked.
