I haven't watched every minute of the world cup but it's been close to it. This is the shittiest I've seen a team look all tournament.
There's just no way Ream is the best option this country has to offer. He's worse than useless back there.

The back three defenders fricking suck
Unbelievable. I guess Jay thinks the pitching staff will be fine. They've obviously dropped massive bags on this portal class.

They also drafted a Russian guy last month.
Lakers need to go all in on this. Get Caruso back.

Checking in on former players in the minor leagues, Gavin Dugas and Jordan Thompson were both recently released by the Nats and Dodgers respectively.
Neither seem to have been picked up by anyone else or joined an indy league team.
I personally think it may be time for Thompson to try his hand at pitching.
Dugas retired from baseball after he was released

For whatever reason, Mark Ruffalo has never sold a scene to me. Every time I see him on screen, I feel like I am watching a guy struggling to act.

Which also goes into the conversation from earlier with Armstrong eluding to a HS recruit who is 50/50 type to make it to campus possibly decommitting. He didn't mention name of who it was but talked about last minute returners at same position and also if the guy would be a DES then he may look to decommit and look somewhere else. CJ Weinstein fits both of those.
It was 100% Weinstein. He pulled up a spreadsheet for a moment and had Weinstein marked as decommitted.

which shows that the target audience for a “Supergirl” movie — Gen Z women — didn’t show up.
These people are insane. You're not keeping a super hero movie afloat with Gen Z females, I don't care how good it is.
The people making these decisions are all millionaires many times over. How can they be this stupid?
Anyone with a functioning brain and semi-interest in movies could have told you any iteration of Supergirl would bomb at the box office. The movie was DOA.

This feels like when the Lakers signed Payton and Malone. HOF players, but not quite enough left in the tank to get them over the hump. Before someone says, "yeah, but they made the finals," I'd argue Shaq and Kobe were at a much different place in their careers than what this Warriors squad will have.

itinerary on vacation: yes or no?
Big no at this point in my life.
I go on vacation to avoid plans.
I know some people hate the idea, but to me, a good vacation is a week at an all-inclusive resort where the family just does whatever they want, whenever they want. That is hard to beat with young kids.

That is hard to watch. Scary how fast his disease has progressed.

It’s scheduled to be completed the first week of August.
This would make sense because I can't imagine why they'd start this project, and it would affect fall camp. This could have been started the day after spring ball ended.
I am guessing they waited until after the summer official visit window closed so the tours of the facilities would look good.

I suspect Elon slipped costs of production plus 20% to Uwe to do this.
Exactly what happened.
The movie is a bit too on the nose. Relevant message though.

So true. This 15 year old should have been able to ride his bike to the weed store for his medicine.

Anybody picking up the lefty LSU pitchers making a splash? Kade Anderson and Gage Jump I got Bowman first autos for each. Nothing numbered for Kade but I did get a PSA 9 auto numbered to 150 for Gage.
Have a Jump auto out of /250 that I think will 10 once PSA opens back up. Holding off on Kade. Market way too hot right now. His prices should dip once he gets the call up and looks human. I’m screwed if he just starts mowing people down.
Haven’t picked up an Eyanson yet. Been watching a lot. Haven't seen one I’m confident will 10. The centering this year is rough.

Gun to my head, I’d favor Ole Miss. They’ll be playing with more emotion. Most of LSU’s roster doesn’t give a shite about Ole Miss. This will be, by far, their biggest game of the year.
LSU offense may still be working things out in week 3.

I definitely feel that Jay will try and put some sort of NIL package to try and get one of these freshman OF to pull their name from the draft. Hopefully one of them will take him on it.
He CLAIMS he's no longer doing that. NIL money cannot compete with what MLB teams can offer. These kids need to come to college for other reasons.

Baseball America did another update of the Top 500 Draft Prospects
Feels like Schmidt, Hirschkorn, Adams, Washington, Nawrocki, Sides, Santarelli, and Murphy are gone.
Jay said he expects to lose 6-8 guys, and I find he's usually overly optimistic with these things, so there's your 8 right there.
I've seen the rumors that Weinstein is willing to sign for bus fare. That would make 9. Would have liked to get one of the outfielders to campus. Hopefully Jay can work some magic there.

I can’t see Santarelli making it to campus after that. It was a slim chance before that, and I think that slim chance evaporated.
I can’t get over how put together he is. He would be intimidating in the box as a big leaguer.
