Trane’s former headquarters in LaCrosse, WI was donated to the local school district there.

41 acres and the building (from 1967)

I'm in Europe so have a usb fan we bought at HEMA. It's spinning good and moving air.

I have it set at the Mamdani 78.. It ran non stop from 1 to 3:30.. cycled off then ran for another hour after that.. I usually knock it down a degree let it run a couple of cycles until it reaches 71... raise it to 78 and go to sleep with a ceiling fan on... This morning it came back on at 5am.. It's summer and it is hot as hell....

Our main floor outside unit quit on Thurs. Slept in the basement that night.

Luckily just a capacitor and was running the next day.

It’s sitting in the garage at the moment. I almost pulled it out earlier in the week. I am glad I didn’t. Other than the lack of rain, it has been a pleasant summer so far in the coastal Pacific Northwest.

Double inverters are doing their job. My AC's are running a lot but sipping power.

Are you happy with the inverters? I'm probably going to have to start replacing my units one at a time in the winter - been reading up on the variable speed inverter units like the Daikin Fit and they sound intriguing for sure.

I keep mine on 74 with all the curtains closed and it still can’t handle it once about 5pm rolls around, it will jump to 76 and won’t get back down until bedtime. Just praying it gets me through one more summer, we’re trying to make a move early next year.

Location is everything.

My haunts of Oban or Shetland in Scotland don’t need fans.

My unit was at 75 yesterday until one of my kids left the back door open and it got up to 83 in the house. When I went to bed at 10pm it was down to 78. Miserable.

Went to Walmart today and bought blackout curtains for the living room and a shade for the back door. My units been at 70 all day.

We keep ours at 78 during the day, so they're doing great

Mine is working non stop. Thankfully, I live in an old house that also has a very strong window unit in the largest area, which help cool things down tremendously.
