but I don’t see why Russia would be willing to accept it.

They probably have come to conclusion being under the influence of the US is better than being under the control of China. I would imagine we will be a gentler master. And given their current projections, those are the two most realistic outcomes. China was going to treat Russia like the Belgians treated Africa. They just wanted all of those resources.

This isn't doom bullshite, we just had a large layoff and i'm friends with a ton of people looking for jobs. Companies are strongly prioritizing higher Sr. and Expert roles, entry level they are doing their best to replace with AI.

Sorry you don't like it, but if you are working on AD DC's i can see why your perspective of the industry is radically different.

I haven't really seen any of this. But I've been in security for a while now. If anything AI has made me have more job security. The amount of stupid shite people are doing via AI without a second thought is absurd. We have shut down lots of the AI usage because we had clowns doing stuff like leaving API keys or PII data in plan text because that's what the AI told them to do. Devs that should know better too.

AI is neat and has it's use case, but I feel like these AI layoffs are really just investor relations so they don't have to admit they are just regular layoffs.

ETA:To OP - echoing what others have said, you probably aren't jumping to a systems analyst or system admin role right away. You are going to have to cut your teeth on helpdesk.

Not saying it's the only way to do it, but I a Sr in cloud security and I started out as a temp making $10/hr on the helpdesk. But you can prove your worth and move up pretty quick at some companies.
Had a discussion recently with somebody who did this for their kid in a different sport. They talked about how it was an investment that paid off because it resulted in a scholarship for college. Things got very awkward and quiet when I pointed out they could have taken that money and paid for school (and a better school at that) with cash and had plenty of money left over.

You may want to research the security posture of this thing first. I would only run it on an isolated device with limited exposure.

Yea I've been reading all sorts of security researchers exploiting it. Also, I don't really have anything I need an llm to do for me in my daily personal life. I wouldn't be able to integrate it with work, so I just don't get the need.
I work 7-4. Much better than 8-5.

A new smelting plant is opening here for the first time in decades. We need more manufacturing here on our shores.

Just looked into this - supposed to be finished before the end of the decade and more than double the current US production. That seems like things are working as intended.

Ehh the PMAC is pretty rough.
Do they work well up there? Does the temperature mess with them? My garage has always been of a concern because of the batteries for my tools but I’m under the impression smoke detectors don’t do well in garages. The sawdust, exhaust, temperature swings, etc messes with them I think? If I’m wrong I’ll definitely put them in both places.

I have my personal T-Mobile Line and my work Verizon line on my iPhone. It's really useful. I can quickly identify what is a work call or a personal call and shut off the work line when I'm on vacation. My Wife has AT&T. Between one of those we should have a connection, and the T-Mobile Sat connection really helps in that regard come a disaster.

Where would you like the vents to go? And are you sure they are dryer vents and not (bathroom) exhaust fan vents? Either way it’s the side of the building or the roof typically.
I'm doing Keto right now and was looking for minimal carbs. I tried Body Armor recently and it does the trick. 1g of carbs per packet I think. Seems to do the trick. 700MG Potassium, 510MG of Sodium, and has a little calcium, magnesium, and zinc in it too.

Whoever he is, he is implying Orgeron is working against us. Is O mad Kiffin didn't give him a job?

I’ve wondered about this. Ed was telling everyone who would listen Kiffin was giving him a job on staff at LSU.

Graves didn’t graduate from LSU and supports many college teams and NFL teams. Not sure he donates as much to LSU as many would expect from a billionaire alumn.

I've heard conflicting reports on Graves. I've heard from some people that say this - that he doesn't give as much as people think.

Then I've heard from some people, who I'm under the impression would be in the know, that say he is very instrumental and involved financially.

Its pretty nice in the rain bro

I never understood people that say you don’t need AWD in the south like its only use is snow.

Maybe I’m just dumb, but it seems to offer a lot of benefits in the rain. A good set of tires like Michelin defenders and AWD gives you real solid footing.

I just toyed around with it and for some reason when I add them the points actually go down. I must just be dumb.

Calling these people "Agents" is incredibly generous to them and disrespectful to actual agents.
LSU should be the flagship, Tech should be the northern school, ULL the southwestern school, UNO the New Orleans school, and even though it’s pretty close to LSU, Southeastern could probably justify existing. All the rest need to close or become community/technical/trade schools.
I got one with the round mike logo at the Florida game this past season.

I thought I read somewhere that they wanted guarantees of some sort? Maybe I'm mixing them up with someone else.
He was just gloating on Twitter about important or valuable players not leaving for LSU.

I wonder if it helps that we can sell him on getting "starter" reps in the spring if Leavitt is out during that time.
Is it dumb to draw parallels to this to non-competes which are largely unenforceable?

The funny thing is you need somebody to do stuff like this to force change. The system is broken and if you have someone that pushes things to the extreme, maybe you finally see a change.

Just like the stories coming out about changing the calendar to prevent the exact fiasco of lane leaving a playoff team and the portal mess before the season is even over.

They may hate him, but college football needs a villain to force the change.
Do you know that it is similar money? I have to wonder if Ole Miss is overpaying just to intentionally hurt LSU, even if it is not in the best interest of Ole Miss.
The little brother behavior is coming out big time

Serious question as a tigers fan as im not really educated on all of it. Can lsu financially compete with texas, texas a&m, oregon that have billionaire alumni/blank check - year in and year out?

Did you miss the coaching change and what we paid a guy to not coach and what we are paying his replacement and the staff?
Father in law is an FSU alum and was not sad to see him go. I remember him getting so annoyed about his performance against the run.
