Not going to lie…I kinda agree with Drinker on this one

I feel like I just got out of a marvel movie that should have came out in the middle of summer rather than November. The Android chick is super annoying and the “cute alien” addition was eye rolling. It’s got some cool action scenes and I get the appeal for it but a Predator movie should take itself more seriously. Just my opinion.

Just as a side note: I went in without watching any trailers so wasn’t quite aware of the cgi fest I was getting myself into
Thought it was solid. I saw a lot of people comparing it to Nosferatu so that's what I went into it expecting but it's not nearly as dark as Nosferatu. It's more dark fantasy than gothic horror. It's definitely a Del toro film. Has that pans labyrinth feel to it. The last hour is definitely the best part when you get the story from the monsters perspective. Oscar Isaac crushes and that kid Jacob Alordi from euphoria plays the monster feel like he's a legit actor he's been great in everything I've seen him in. The first half I was kinda like “this is ok” but once I settled in and accepted it for what it was (haven’t seen any Del toro in a long time) it started to grow on me.

I will say the monster looked a bit to pretty/human, though
I have the 2021 Laramie with the 5.7 hemi. 60k miles so far and 0 issues. No complaints here.

i had london, warren, and jeanty though so im still somewhat in the fight

Watched it the other night. It's very sad that these warriors are so lost when they come home and cant live life. I find it interesting that the reason why alot of these men are able to have the mental fortitude to do what they do in war is because of the child hood trauma they went through in broken homes when they were younger. Then they stack the PTSD on top of of that after war is over and it just exacerbates their childhood trauma. Every single one that went thorough the psychedelic treatment said that they didnt have flash backs to anything they went through in war, it was all stuff they went through as children that they had to face to start to recover.

Gave up 37+ points to a 3-9, 4-8, and 7-5 team.

And also have the record for most points scored in a season. Won the heisman, walter camp, o'brien, biletnikoff, thorpe, and broyles awards. Never trailed in the 4th. Trailed by double digits once (to clemson who they then blew out the 2nd half), 7-0 against the top 10, 4-0 against the top 5 including the preseason top 4 and beat all by and average of 20 frickin points :rotflmao:

But yeah lets talk about some points they gave up against teams that they still beat by a billion :rotflmao:

You have so much other ammo to use on us, like the 8-0 dominance and the 21-0 beatdown in the natty so use those. The 2019 team is a losing battle my guy. Greatest team ever and its not particularly close.

Bro, in what world was Tua going to score on that play? :rotflmao: He was about to get his shite pushed in by delpit even if he didnt fumble plus 2 other DBs that were bearing down on him. Bama gets a fg at best that opening drive.

You want to talk about fluke plays? Bama quick snapped Stingley while he was looking at the sideline for the play for a fluke bomb on one of their TDs. That game was never in doubt because they had 0 answer for Joey B and those WRs along with Clyde Saban even admitted it before the Natty against Clemson when they had him on the set. Every score was answered with another score. Bama got a late TD to make it seem closer than it was.

Greatest team of all time. Enough said.

I read it at the beginning of the year after getting back from a trip to Spain and didn't care for it. Thought it was pretty slow and was a bit thrown off with the characters speaking as if they were in a 1500s Shakespeare play when it was only the 1930s. The ending was pretty good, though. It was the only Hemingway book ive ever read and i came away disappointed considering the hype. May still try some of his other stuff one day.
Funny i read the same thread this book was referenced in and was planning on reading it after i finish Shelby Foote's civil war series. Sounds pretty good
I've been reading Shelby Foote's Civil War: A Narrative trilogy. It's really good but you have to stay on top of it, there's so many names and places and in depth analysis of the politics, battles, and people that you'll be lost if you put it down for more than a couple days. About half way through the first book, its going to take a few months to finish the trilogy, its super long.
im all good on the 1,467,221 newest trump impersonator
Just got out. Absolutely loved it. Plemons crushes as always. Up there with Warfare for my movie of the year so far
Yorgos is hit or miss. I LOVED Poor Things but didn’t care for Kinds of Kindness so we’ll see. He’s definitely different
Was between this and Bugonia today. Going with Bugonia. Will probably see this Monday since it will be in theatre longer

Mavs are down AD, Kyrie, lively, and Exum. Good opportunity for the pels tonight. Would be cool to get on a streak before the West Bank lakers come to town next Friday
I cut and weed eat but I have a small yard. I did pay an embarassing amount to have my hedges, crape Myrtles, and mulch/weeds taken care of a couple months ago. It got out of control and I hate doing that shite
If I see sloppy turnovers out the gate I’m out early this year. There’s nothing worse than watching these McMahon teams fumble the ball all over the court and look like they’ve never dribbled a basketball in their life. It’s the most infuriating, embarassing shite ever
quote:

Much improved roster, I think this will be a team fighting for 18 or 19 wins hoping for 10 or 11 seed in the tournament.

That seems like a stretch but I like the optimism . I felt this way going into last year only to have my hopes crushed as soon as we started SEC play. Apathy has set in and I’m assuming we’re going to beat up on a bunch of nobodies pre sec play then get our shite pushed in starting in January. Hope I’m wrong but I’m not getting my hopes up again

Thank God Breece didnt get traded. He's all the jets have and hes starting to heat up. I was scared he'd get traded into a time share which would tank my season.
