re: Anyone Watched Nuremberg Yet?
Posted by cfish140 on 1/6/26 at 6:41 am to PurpleandGold Motown
I ranked it in my top 5-6 films of the year and wish it would have gained more traction here. I went in without watching any previews and didn’t know Crowe was playing Goering and he absolutely blew me away. Was hoping he’d get some Oscar buzz but dosent look like he is. One of my favorite theatre experiences of the year going into that blind
I thought it was already known he’s coming back for this one. It has him credited on his wiki page
Sign OG Davis Edwards in free agency and draft Tyson. If you think trotting out Vele, injury proned Olave, and Johnson is a playoff offensive lineup you’re crazy. I love what this group did at the end of the season but let’s not forget who they were playing against. Shough needs more weapons. I’m happy with Kamara, Neal, and Miller rotating at RB but we need elite pass catchers for our new franchise qb.

Was in 7th grade on Christmas break watching with my dad and cousin. Still remember us losing our shite when Vincent busted that long run first play of the game

Biggest games of the day:
325PM-Chargers @ Broncos (Broncos -14)-Broncos looking to lock up the 1 seed. Chargers are in a 3 way tie for the wild card. Herbert will be out for the Chargers (hence the large spread). Trey Lance gets the start.
720PM-Ravens @ Steelers (Ravens -3.5)-For the AFC North division title and a playoff berth. Lamar will play. Could potentially be the last game of Rogers career.

Nova has their ground flare going. They dont do it often, but when they do it lights up the whole parish. Nothing to be worried about

Saints are on the ups, but the Pels future looks bleak. Hopefully Silver tells Gayle to get off her arse or the Pels are getting moved

I've been waiting for Blue Moon to come down from $20 on prime before i rent it. Ethan Hawke is the favorite for best actor for his role in it.
Seeing alot of K-pop demon hunters on these lists. Drinker even put it in his which is surprising.
Agree on 2-4. Havent seen 1 or 5. Eddington and Frankenstein were ok. Sinners was good.

but nobody beats Dan Lanning and Mighty Oregon twice in the same season.
Penix and Washington did it in 2023. I remember because i didnt think there was any way they could win the rematch.
Indiana is on another level right now. Cignetti is the GOAT and Mendoza is as efficient as they come. Oregon's defense was impressive against Tech but i thought Moore was super underwhelming. He had about 4 fumbled hand offs and looks slow as hell when he tries to escape the pocket and use his legs. I think it will be a good game but the hoosiers seem to be the team to beat. Give me Cignetti and co -4

Getting married in Mexico in February. Bora Bora in July for our honeymoon which is by far the most i've ever spent on travel but i guess you only get one honeymoon.
Also have a friends wedding in Denver in June that we're going to make a vacation out of.
Will probably have to put the travel on hold after that, looking to upgrade homes at the end of the year.

re: Bama is absolute dogshit

Tried to tell everybody this wasn’t going to be pretty. Bama has been fools gold all year. Worst running game since the pre Saban era and teams have moved the ball on them all year. Cignetti is 10x the coach Deboar is. But everybody still has that bama bias from the Saban era. They suck. OU pissed down their leg on special teams to let them back in that last game it was a fluke
So many “BaMa Is FrEe MoNeY” threads this week from the casuals  bama frickin blows. They’ve had their worst rushing offense since the pre Saban era this year and teams have moved the ball on them all year. OU pissed all over their leg last week to let them back in the game. Indiana has a heisman winner and the best coach in the league. Hoosiers were a lock

Kirby just wins these games. And yes losing your head coach is a big deal

Hoosiers -6.5 is a lock. Locked it in as soon as it came out. 2/2 so far with these first 2 quarterfinals games
re: The fix was in for Miami. Don't believe me? Just look at these key "blown" calls

That 1st down they called back when Beck scrambled on 3rd and 3 late 2nd was the most egregious call of the game. If they had went up 21-0 it woulda been over a lot sooner
If they didn’t find a way to get Diamonds in the Rough into the movie I don’t wanna see it.

Quit January 11, 2023 cold turkey. Went a year before deciding to drink only on vacations and it’s been going great so far. In the best shape of my life and my off days are much more productive. I’ll be honest and admit that sporting events and parties aren’t as fun anymore but the peace and health outweigh the fun. The hardest part is your friends and family accepting it. I’m from a family that parties and it took them awhile to quit offering me a drink or begging me have a beer with them when at events
I treat myself to a solo steak lunch then a solo theatre matinee once a week while the wife is at work. It’s one of my biggest pleasures in life.
We don’t have kids though, I realize that’s not feasible for everybody.
