I can't drink scalding hot coffee or eat scalding hot food, always have to let it cool a bit.

There are some towns around DFW that have angled street parking spots that by law you have to back into.

It's becoming more prevalent over there . My Dutch friend now tell me to tip 10% at a nice restaurant and round up at other full service places. And many places, especially in tourist areas, now show at tip option on the CC terminal.
