And I keep this house at 71° all summer long

Mine has run 6 hours and 36 minutes as of this post. Average run time has been 20 minutes today, average indoor temp has been 72, and I just lowered it to 70 about 5 minutes ago. Thinking it'll run a total of about 10-11 hours today.

That’s brutal, back in the mid 2000s I built a nice custom brick home and thought that it would run cooler than the hardy plank Home I’ve had in the country before that

But it absolutely didn’t, get dark, almost black asphalt shingles, and despite being accustomed home the builder bought shite double pain but still shite windows


Without some now, I went with the best window McCoys had which was still half the price of the big name brands, but all the window people told me they’re the same darn windows made the same factory without the name


And I believe it now, I can put my heat gun when the sun is beating down on a big bay window and the temperature might be 5° different than what I’ve got my AC set at they do an amazing job too

I thought it was getting ready to crap out. It just needed more refrigerant. It’s like a new unit now.

It's currently 26 degrees cooler inside than outside

It was off until maybe an hour ago.

Mine can get down to 72 degrees and that's all she's got.

Running quite a bit and reliably. Installed it a few years ago and in the first year the blower fan and condenser fan failed under warranty, but it's been solid since. It's a Ruud/Rheem unit.

My power bill was $513 this month
