ALL of these data centers are vital. Just look at the important use cases they are promoting.

Couldn't they just poo off the side? That's what I do in my Xpress.

It is amazing seeing our dear leader guiding this country to gold!!

Thanks. That wooded property is some of the nicest natural land left in the city.

I remember a story about JG’s wife or brother being a member of an LLC that may have been doing something with Rigid. There may be smoke to a kickback fire, but it would be ballsy to tie it to this project.

I'd love to know if the city owns this property at the end of Kaliste Saloom and if this was one of the 'no-bid contracts'. In this aerial you can see the construction fencing. It was printed with Rigid Constructors. They spent months grading this slightly unlevel land.

It doesn't look much different than it did before. Why grade an empty property with no construction projects lined up?

California’s new bill requires DOJ-approved 3D printers that report on themselves targeting general-purpose machines.

quote:

We’ve been tracking this pattern. Washington State’s HB 2321 requires printers to include “blocking features” that can’t be defeated by users with “significant technical skill” (good luck with that on open-source firmware). New York’s budget bill S.9005 buries similar requirements in Part C, sweeping in CNC mills and anything capable of “subtractive manufacturing.” California’s version adds a certification bureaucracy on top: state-approved algorithms, state-approved software control processes, state-approved printer models, quarterly list updates, and civil penalties up to $25,000 per violation.

This does nothing but hinder law-abiding citizens with more costs, regulations and loss of freedom.

Meh.

Guy just did what all of the F250 drivers here claim they'll do to pedestrians and cyclists on the roads.

I think they shut down that service in 2003.

Hold on a second bud.

My wife drives a Chevrolet® Trailblazer®. Like her, it is reliable and dependable. Something people can count on. From the school pickup line to the highest mountain passes, her Chevrolet® Trailblazer® allows her to be a leader of the pack™.

You set your dog up for failure.

I'd never blame my dog for protecting his home from strangers. When strangers (contractors, bug man) do need to come over I secure him.
It seems there is more going on in these EU talks than the anti-Trump narrative the media portrays.

I saw this Economist article concerning the strategic importance of the Arctic. It is why Trump is talking about Greenland.

What China is really up to in the Arctic

Its close co-operation with Russia is alarming many in the region

Excerpt

China’s activities are drawing ever closer scrutiny from Norway’s neighbours, other NATO partners and the EU. Kaja Kallas, the EU’s foreign-policy chief, raised a widely shared fear that China could weaponise Arctic shipping routes and mineral supply chains. Sweden stopped China from gaining access to an Arctic space station in 2020 and withdrew from the China-Nordic Arctic Research Centre in 2023. Finland has scaled back projects involving China, too. Danish spies warned in December that China aimed to operate naval ships and submarines in the Arctic within five to ten years.

Parking etiquette

Is it ok to park like this or should I be forced to park away from the sidewalk and walk an extra 50ft?

His mother became a transactivist

Is that true?

Here is the type of post I'm seeing from the Canada subreddit. The mom just couldn't get care for her son and the US is to blame.

quote:

Likely Jennifer Strang the mother of the shooter. She has posts on her Facebook of a full gun safe. Posts that reference her son (her words) and his YouTube channel focused on guns and survival type content. It is incredibly hard to access good and consistent mental health care for your children/teens, and parents are up against endless online communities fostering very dark and twisted ideologies.

This is a sickening tragedy on many levels. The rot that has infected America has now crept across our borders. I cannot bring myself to read of the victims or their families. This is a completely unnecessary tragedy and I don’t know how we get the wheels back on the bus. I do think we need to consider some very strict internet controls for kids under 16 like Australia has done.
