I don't remember any rallies for Andrea Yates or Dena Schlosser.
When Dustin Poirier was on Theo Von's Podcast the first time, they were talking about where they are from. Theo said "Covington" and Dustin legit said "Is that closer to Mississippi or Alabama?"

No, I don't see any difference there. Was that something you posted in here?

No, but some would argue that I would be "rude" and guarantee myself a ticket.

Cop: Evening, Sir, we are conducting a license check, do you have your driver's license?
Me: Yes, Sir. Hands him license.

Cop: Where are you headed tonight?
Me: I'm just heading home.

Other Cop: You know your tag expires this month.
Me: Yes, Sir, I need to get her inspected and pay the registration. It's on my to do list this week.

Cop: Hands me license. Drive safe, Mr Alfonzo.
Me: Have a good night.

Is there a difference from what you replied to what I would reply?

It's been a while since I've been asked those questions at a traffic stop but I usually just give vague answers.

Where are you headed? Home

Where are you coming from? Work

That way I'm not "difficult" but I'm also not giving them any more than they ask for. I still get a ticket though.
Those are the ones that are in there for 3-4 hours too. Let me do my 45 minutes and I'm out of there.
When I was in the Army, people swore I was Telly from "Kids".

I kind of looked like him right here and I was super skinny. But a buddy of mine in the Army, Shaun was a dead ringer for this kid. He even looks like Leo Fitzpatrick now.
We had two 16 year olds back in 8th grade. They both turned out just how you would expect.
I just started burning blu-ray movies and making legit cases for them(photo paper, blank blu-ray case). The quality of DVD vs Blu-ray is night and day.
A guy I worked with got booted from the Army because of a so-called "rape". This other guy in our platoon was dating an Army girl who lived in the barracks next to us. Apparently, they had a threesome with a girl and now the girlfriend wanted to have a threesome with a guy and had her boyfriend pick the guy.

He picked that guy so he went over to his dorm and he started kissing the girl, no problem. He put his hand under her shirt and felt her boobs, no problem. He put his hand down her pants and she told him to stop so he did. She ran out of the room back to her dorms. Even her boyfriend, who was there said it was odd.

Buddy got a knock on his door about an hour later. Took him in for questioning. I'm not sure of the whole ordeal but I know he was placed on hold and then he was kicked out a few months later. Nothing happened to her boyfriend but they broke up shortly after.

Mine is no credit card debt. My ex wife ran up about $12K when we were first married and struggling. After we divorced and I paid it off, I vowed to never be in that situation again.

I won't lie, those Ray Ban's I tried on were pretty sweet. But for as little as I'm going to wear them, it doesn't justify an almost $400 price tag.

What kind of insurance do you all have?

Not sure the name but it's supplemental through Aflac. I pay $5/month. My exam was $30
I went for an eye exam on Friday due to slight blurred vision from further distances. I haven't had an eye exam since 1998 when I joined the Army and never wore glasses my entire life.

After the exam, I sat down to look at glasses and with my vision insurance it would cost me $370 for a pair of glasses. I just asked for my prescription. The young guy next to me paid $710 for a pair of glasses.

I ordered two pair from Zenni and paid less than $30.

Teachers don't get to take vacations during the school year

I do understand the pay discrepancy for all the work teachers do but do they really need to take a "vacation " during the school year? Two weeks for Christmas, week each for Thanksgiving and Easter and two months for the summer seems like plenty of time to take whatever vacation(s) you need.
I work with a woman that gets 100% VA disability of about $4,300 on top of her $8,500 salary.

It just needed more refrigerant

There's a leak somewhere. You don't lose refrigerant in a closed system.

I keep mine on 74 with all the curtains closed and it still can’t handle it once about 5pm rolls around, it will jump to 76 and won’t get back down until bedtime. Just praying it gets me through one more summer, we’re trying to make a move early next year.

My unit is about 15 years old and has been like this for the past 5 years. Every year I get it cleaned and serviced in March but with this heat I'm lucky to get 74. Don't sweat it(no pun intended). You have plenty of time.
