Pretty sure that was the movie Jarhead that happen in.

It was in Jarhead and in Swofford's book but it never happened in real life. That story has been passed around more times than I can count. The first time I heard it was from my SFC in 1998.
Soldier involved in love triangle loses his head

I remember hearing something about it but always thought it was fiction. Turns out, the guy has been out of jail for a while and lives in Baltimore.

My aunt(mom's sister) was a district manager for shop rite in the 90's. She was helping out a store in Crowley when some guy from Texas came in and bought a few scratch offs. He left and then returned with one of the $10 tickets he bought saying he didn't understand how to play it. My aunt said she couldn't refund him but she bought it off of him and he bought a different one. She just put it in her purse.

She gets home and my cousin is looking for gum in her purse. Saw the lottery ticket and asked her mom if she could scratch it. Won $10K. Ended up with $6,600 or so after taxes. It was gone in a week.
I just say "Appreciate it" and move on. If they want to have a conversation or ask any questions, I'll be happy to talk.

I'm wondering if it's because she was a teacher at the school the girl went to?

Yes. If the 17 year old went to any other school, it would have been a non issue.
Never anything too crazy but I've been to a few weddings where the dress shirt and slacks that I wore were a tad too fancy.

Was she attractive?

From her Facebook page...not really, but she is 71 now
I've stated this before but my buddy and his wife are swingers. He is short, chubby and bald with a big arse beard. His wife is NOT attractive at all, like an OT 2(only because her boobs are somewhat large) but the way men fawn over her on Facebook just tells me that most men will stick their dick in anything.

He has a lot of swinger friend on his FB list(identified by "LS" at the end of their name). I went through it and not one of them were even remotely attractive.

She didn't age well. Nose ring plus she's 185 now.
No lie, when I was married and went to church, they used to shower the mom's with gifts during Mother's Day service. Roses, gift cards, money, etc. One single mom even got a car.

During Father's Day, the pastor got up on stage and said "Happy Father's Day....men, you need to stop watching porn and help your wives out in the kitchen".

I can tell you that Wal-Mart will do everything in their power to not report an injury and also not pay out a lawsuit. My cousin was a store Co-Manager. Any store accidents would hurt their bonuses and his was $60K if no accidents were reported in a year. He said they also have the best lawyers to fight all the lawsuits. He's personally given out $500 gift cards when people slip and fall.
I always get a kick out of the teachers complaining about only getting paid 9 months out of the year. No honey, you get your full salary over 9 months. It's no one's fault but your own that you can't manage your finances.

Most of the crap people want to barter with me is nothing I would be interested in. Someone wanted to trade a dirt bike for my truck. I did accept a barter once. I was selling an older smartphone for $100 and some guy wanted to trade a 2014 Mac Book Pro for it. I accepted the offer and then the guy says "Oh, by the way, I live in Shreveport and broke my foot and I drive a motorcycle so I can't meet you but you're willing to come meet me here.

I live in Lafayette.
