I dated this girl whose grandparents were married for over 50 years. Her grandpa died pretty suddenly and the grandma packed up all her belongings and moved a few states away and got remarried a week after his funeral.

I would NOT recommend reading his WIkipedia page.

They are not in high demand

I wanted to buy one the other day at my local WM but they were under lock and key and couldn't find an associate to help. They had about 5-6 behind the glass case. Went home and ordered one online for pickup about an hour later. Get a notification a few hours later that they canceled my order because they were now out of stock.

Amazon and eBay are selling them for double. No Wal-mart within a 100 miles has any. I would say they are a hot item right now.

Please say you were Army and not Air Force!

Yep, Army. But I worked with quite a few Air Force guys that weren't too bright either.
I was stationed in Germany during 9/11. We had a guy who was home on leave in Ohio when it happened. He called our boss to let him know he will be on the first flight back as soon as they allow flights. Our boss told him he needed to rent a car and drive back.

The guy was like "You want me to drive....to Germany".

I've done this once in my entire life. The hotel my brother and I were staying at, the breakfast wasn't ready yet so we walked next door and ate theirs.
Three. One back in 2002 driving back to Colorado from Texas. Cop got me at 9 over. Ticket was only $90.

The other two were here in LA. Expired inspection sticker(yes, It happens) and doing 62 in a 55. Both of those were taken cared of and I didn't pay a dime.
Mine went up to $27 also, logged on to cancel and they offered $8/month. Told them no and they proceeded to cancel. I told them I changed my mind and $8 was good.

I just don’t want to get the gasket fixed so I’ll keep doing it this way. I’ve tried Stop Leak but not had much luck with it.

The oil pan gasket? That's a $500 repair at worst. You're paying $200 per year in just oil to top off. I would just bite the bullet and change it. It would drive me nuts to check my oil every single day.

Rees St Lube, L&L Tire, Louisiana Automotive or Heberts?

Rees St. I would trust L&L tire as well. Herbert's Garage changed ownership and its called something else now.
They don't use impact wrenches. I know that for a fact.

I guess piece of mind it’s done right for me.

The place I go to is family owned and I know them personally. They've all been working there forever. I'll never step foot in a Take 5 or any of those other chains.

Now it makes sense

It's an older vehicle that doesn't get driven a lot.

Don’t scan shite just tell me where you got it changed

Although the Altima part is concerning

Locally here in Breaux Bridge. It's a conventional oil change, not synthetic. The Altima is my stepdaughters car. Her dad bought it. Blame him.

What year is it

Are you talking about a lawnmower or something

I just had the oil changed today on my daughter's 2008 Altima. It cost $43. I can scan a copy of the receipt if you like.
I was 5'8" in 8th grade and grew an inch every year. Was 6'0" my senior year.

My brother went from 5'9" to 6'3" between his freshman and sophomore year.

East Texas for sure. I had a Air Force buddy that lived near San Antonio that never ate them his entire life.

Change my own oil. Easy process, simple, and learn things about your vehicle.

I know how to change my own oil but after buying the oil($20) and the filter($10), I'd much rather pay $10 more to have someone do it all for me. It's not worth the hassle of gathering all my tools, Put the car on ramps, etc.
