Thanks. I live in on a rural golf course, and they are a family business that several of my neighbors recommended. Old man - gotta be around 75 - came out and checked everything out. He has two sons that run crews, and his daughter handles answering the phones and taking care of the office work.

I don't have any "buyer's remorse" although I just retired a year ago and certainly did not want to have to spend that much money right off the bat.

Fine but I don't set it in the 60's. We live in South Louisiana, I think we have to learn to acclimate to the heat to some extent - central air has made us pretty soft and spoiled.

In Baton Rouge LA it would be - great price. I paid $5K more than that 3 years ago for a 4-ton single stage Trane, 4 bids (Trane or Carrier units) - all small (2 man operation, owner & helper) or medium (several trucks) size companies, all 4 bids were within $1K of each other.
